If I wanted to add a Entry Rule such as: "Go Long After three higher closing bars" or "go short after price of current bar exceeds the prior week Hi"....does the EA Studio support inclusion of these kinds of rules?
Thanks for the EA...Why does the EA on MT4 platform work in reverse order...that is ... When the graph goes up it loses money and when graph comes down it earns money ? I am confused !
The EA will open both long (buy) and short (sell) trades according to market conditions. So, in the case of a short order that's profitable, although the asset will be going down in value, the EA will be profitable
Hey, this is amazing! I backtested it and the results are amazing. But I have a problem when I activated the EA on demo account. I had not a single trade throug the last two weeks. At the same time it works like crazy in backtest mode. What am I doing wrong?
Be sure you've enabled auto trading and you see a smiley face / blue hat in the corner of your chart. If you do, check your settings and the journal for any errors

Only thing I don't understand is why I see only today's messages in journal rather than the entire time from when I first started working with mt5. I don't believe that I need to be online all the time while the EA works. Or do I?
Yip, you do. Your PC or laptop has to be on and connected to the internet 24/7 with the platform running. If you can't do that, then a VPS would be your solution

No, you didn't so anything wrong :-). Because your entry lots and leverage are the same on the backtest, your results are the same. If you want to see the results with larger amounts, increase your lot sizes in proportion in the backtest inputs
We use the backtest in EA Studio to look at the performance. Doing it this way, we do not need to run it on an account. By small account, I mean $100 - $200

IF you see a smiley face or blue hat in the corner of your chart, your robots are active and trades will open when market conditions allow. The same problem arises for your prop firm robots, are they optimized from FTMO data? Because there in your video we can clearly see the big impact that this generates on the profitability of the strategy ?

Not in EA Studio, but you can do this in FSB Pro. There's a 15 day free trial there too, but it is more advanced

Exactly. Trades will close for 3 reasons - The TP is hit, the SL is hit or the exit conditions of the strategy are met
