Dude you better have one hell of a home security system 2 mean dogs and a large insurance policy. Especially showing this off on youtube. I only have 1100 games and I'm nervous about my stuff. But I'm also in Detroit and I'm what they consider hood rich. Someone broke into my house and went out the back door as I was going in the front. I'm sure by now rumor in the hood has it I have gold bars stuffed under my bed.
Haha, it's a concern for sure! I'm fortunate enough to live in a nice and safe area. But, yes, I have a home security system. I also live at the very back of a dead-end cul de sac that is surrounded by a stream and heavy duty fencing. It's a 2 minute drive to the end of my street, and there is a police station at the top of the hill. If someone decides to perform a "heist," they are going to have their work cut out for them 😅
I love seeing these kinds of collection videos. I am envious of your collection, but recognize I'd have nowhere to put all of those games anyway. I have a much more modest collection of ~300 games. However, they are games I intend to play, just like you. May you have an enjoyable year of collecting and playing in 2024!
300 games is still a very handsome collection! I like having a large collection, but it takes up a lot of space for sure! Thanks for the warm wishes, I hope you have a wonderful year of collecting and playing as well!
Omg I’m soooooooo jealous right now. I thought having my og Nintendo was cool but this is just amazing. Lots of hard work and dedication have gone into this man cave. Mucho respecto compadre.
Awesome Game room! Took me a few days to get through this video with how much I had to pause and look up! Please make a video with more info around your Ikaruga cab! Did you hand make it yourself? It’s just the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! I need to make a Cave one!
A wonderful, curated collection. A few too many systems for me - but what you have seems to be all killer and no filler! Well done brother! You are livin the dream!
It's a lot of systems for sure! But I'm pretty much done with those. The last few systems I got into collecting were because I picked them up from other collectors that needed some financial help. I felt obligated 😅
I’m awake and watched the whole thing. I was partially paying attention as I was busy folding laundry and ironing my work clothes. It’s fun to see how many PS4 games you have that I also have. I noticed you have Antarctica 88 😂
Love the collection! So many quality games in this room! Love all of the Collectors Editions and big boxes! They look great on display! Keep up the great work!
@@RNGGamerYT I appreciate that. :) Definitely can tell you take pride in it! Love the Vectrex games all displayed. One of my favorites to play! Definitely have to do something better with my switch collectors editions.
I usually put these types of videos on to go to sleep, not that they're boring or anything, just that it works, but I'm watching this one full screen on my desktop. Eyes glued! Nice collection! I hope to someday get mine all set up to display. It's kind of everywhere.
I said it once and I'll say it again, you have one of the most amazing collections. Simply awesome and the video shows that you really love it and care for it.
Awesome Game room, you have quite the collection, and at the beginning of the video, you said nobody really likes the Intellivision game's, I happen to love the Intellivision game's, my sister and I got the Intellivision and the Sears Brand Atari 2600 either Christmas if 1979, or 1980, I don't remember what happened to our original Intellivision system, but a couple of year's ago, my best friend and I went to the San Jose Super Toy Show in California where we live, and a vendor was selling one for $90.00, I offered him $70.00 for it, he wouldn't go that low, so I asked him if I bought for $90.00 would he throw in my favorite game for the system Astrosmash, he said he would, and the I saw Space Battle, and asked him how much for that game, he said he'd throw that game in as well, so I paid him $90.00 ,plus he also threw in a a yellow connector so it will hook up to a TV that has av cable hook ups, so you don't need the TV switch connector you know the one's to hook up on the back of old Crtv's to switch from channel 3, or 4. It's the best money I spent that year
That's an awesome story! Thanks for watching. I love the Intellivision, obviously. But a lot of people in the comments always talk about how much they hate old games from the second generation. So, I always joke about how no one likes it. I want to do a whole video on it soon
How could I possibly sleep, your collection is so amazing. I appreciate your physical workout for our viewing pleasure. Donut County is definitely a hidden gem. I think the magnitude of this video has me slightly stunned. I think the depth and breadth of your collection is unmatched and your even keeled nature and great sense of humor has created a major fan here in Charm City (Baltimore, MD). Continued success with the channel and good cheer in 2024.
I'm so pleased you liked the video! I have to say that I'm a little taken aback by all of your compliments. Having so much praise heaped on me is something I'm not used to. I hope you have a fantastic 2024 as well!
Every time I get to spend time in this room it is an absolute blast. From The Lan party, to the room tours. Glad to be one of the lucky ones to count you as a friend. @19;54 I am still awake I know I am one of those strange people that retally enjoys game room tours.
I'm glad we're friends as well! Your gameroom puts mine to shame in a lot of ways! I'm envious of your two rooms! Thanks for coming to hang out! You're welcome anytime!
Epic tour. Keep up the great content, really made some killer vids this year at the conventions etc. I’m pretty caught up on the key shooters to have in my collection but wasn’t aware of the Radirgy Swag combo release on the switch you highlighted. Just scooped it up! Many thanks.
Thanks so much! I feel like I still have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm glad you enjoyed some of the videos! I'm also glad you grabbed the Radirgy Swag combo!
Awesome tour man, your collection is epic! Was super interesting to see it all! Sunset Riders is an awesome game in the SNES for sure, personal favorite.
That was a fun update, and no, I didn't sleep through it. I always enjoy seeing Jaguar stuff. I don't recall a collection video on that one, but I'll be one of the handful of folks happy about it if there is or will be. The CD-i sure is a fun mess to get into. My collection for it is small, but I found some interesting stuff. You kind of have to view the games through a lens of how they felt at the time as opposed to comparing them to everything else, because CD-i good is a lot different from objective good. My own collection is similar is size and scope with a broad range of consoles and games. A couple that I didn't see that a selfish part of me hopes to see you enjoy in the future are the PC-FX and Neo Geo AES. The AES is probably unnecessary given that you have a consolized MVS, but it sure makes for a rush when you stumble across a cart in the wild or a new homebrew pops up and you have to make a decision on your gaming budget. The PC-FX, on the other hand, has some truly unique exclusives for which to overpay and a whole lot of visual novel/graphic adventures that are utterly incomprehensible to those of us who don't speak Japanese. It's a rabbit hole with a couple of games so hard to find that it may take years to even find a copy online regardless of how much you're willing to spend. The Emerson Arcadia 2001/Leisurevision is another Atari 2600/Intellivision-eraconsole that can be a fun mess to get into. I only have a handful of games that I got in the lot when I bought the system, but it has some of the most hilarious cover art available for any system. Not because of poor quality like Master System or US Turbo games, but because it flagrantly rips off existing art work from other properties like Star Wars. The games aren't great by and large, but there are some exclusives and many, many clones of better games to play!
Thanks for watching and for sharing a bit about your collection! I haven't done a video on the Jaguar yet, but it's coming up in the future. Same with the CD-i. The PC-FX is one that I'm on the fence about. The console looks so cool... but there are just a few games for it, and like you said, most of them are basically unplayable visual novels. Of course, I'd love to have an AES, but I want to beef up my MVS collection a little bit more first. It's almost impossible to stumble onto games for either one in the wild. I think Bucky let me play his Arcadia once, but I can't quite remember. That's one I've never seen in the wild Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment! I really appreciate your support
@@RNGGamerYT Just watched it all in 1 sitting buddy awesome stuff :) Was laughing at your PS1 Action Reply rant. The one i had over here come in a cardboard box and was like a Square grey block that you had to plus into the back of the PS1 . Also had one called Xploder that was exactly the same lol.
Phenomenal collection!!! That NES collection alone is pristine. I can see why you want to get Little Sampson. Also, I’m glad that you brought attention to The Red Star and Magna Carta 2. Those games are highly underrated.
Helluva tour dude! So much goodness. Wish I had that kinda space. I always gravitate to the NES collections that folks have to see what I am missing. Very nice dude! Also the suit was a nice touch. 🍻🤙🏼
Thanks so much! I love to see NES stuff as well. My game room is bigger than any place I ever lived until I was an adult. I've been very fortunate and lucky to be where I'm at.
Ahh, I've been waiting for this video. Was very much awake, haha. Nobody talks about Donut County, I have the Switch version. I ended up playing through the whole game when we had a blackout one night, good time.
That’s an impressive collection 👍 i loved the dark souls poster as well. Did you try the game “Lies of P”? As a big souls fan I was blown away by how close it was to those games
Thanks! I've been working on the collection for a long time... about 16 years. I actually know the exact number of games in my backlog...1516 And yeah.. I buy more games than I can play. But I'm slowing down a bit more now and trying to play more
Not going to lie. This took me a couple tries to get all the way through but damn you have an impressive collection! Just the way you're able to talk about the games and how you acquired them or why you love them. Or just the gameplay in general makes me so happy because there's nothing worse than a huge collection that's not being played at all!!! Question for you though. As far as the length of this video goes, planning to edit our game room tour soon as well and you find any downfalls to it being as long as it is? I know you talked about the retention of the video you did a year and a half ago performing well just wondering how the two are comparing. Stats for nerds lol
Thanks so much for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the collection. This most recent one has about half the retention in the first 30 seconds that the original one did. But, it has overall better retention for the duration! I wanted to do this one in the style of the original as sort of a tribute. This one got 11k views in 1 week. It took 4 months for the 1st one to get that many. The next one will be more highly edited... in 2026 🤣 I'm so thrilled you enjoy my content. Your approval means a lot to me
Thanks so much for watching! They are Oskar Atlantic shelves. They sell them in a bunch of different sizes. I like them because they aren't very deep and free up a lot of space in the room
Amazing looking at your collection RNG. I still haven't scratched the surface on your videos that you have to offer and this one already takes the cake. What goodies you have bro. 8^) Anthony..
Ya mentioned towards the beginning some people watch these game room tour vids to go to sleep to. I uh...fell asleep sitting up at my desk watching :P Awesome collection though XD I woke back up about halfway through.
@@RNGGamerYT Sometimes if I'm just busy doing something like, cleaning, or restoring something, etc I always like having these videos playing in the background too just so I'm not in total silence haha
Thanks so much! I love them too. I want to get some more of them heading down the stairs heading to the gameroom... but I'm not sure that would flu with the wife
Love the music from 'The Dark Spire', an extremely underrated game IMO. This is an impressive collection! Really covers the gamut of history. Not gonna lie though, it makes me feel a bit inferior with my measly 11 consoles (3 of which are 3DS) and ~400 physical games, but I live in a 900 SF apartment and don't make a ton of money, so 🤷♂️. I really wish younger me would have taken more care with my games! I don't have original cases for anything prior to PS1, but my collection has grown organically over the last 30-odd years and my life has been FAR from stable, so I'm just thankful I still have anything from my youth! Of course, if things continue as they have for the last couple of years, I'll probably have to purge most of my it... Anyone out there have $10,000 and want to kick-start a collection? 😂
I'm so glad you enjoyed the collection! I think a lot of us had that time in our life where we lived in an overpriced 900sq ft apartment. I still remember sitting on my mattress on the floor and playing Wipeout XL. We all wish we had saved and taken care of our games from our childhood... If you're really serious about selling your collection, message me on social media. I can get you in touch with someone who will take it off your hands
I just woke up when he started talking about “ppl watch this to go to sleep “ lol 😂 but I do watch until most if not all of it back eventually especially when ppl have cool rooms like this
26:25 Blokus for the PSP! I thought I was the only one who owned this game. The Steambot Chronicles spinoff game nobody wanted. About as rare and loved as Hatris.
Im gonna watch the whole video. Im 23 and been collecting about 5 yrs but its mostly ps3 and newer and want to start collecting older stuff so this is helping gather some ideas of interesting games. I have a complete jaguar set and sega cd is as complete as I need it to be but definitely have my work cut out for me
That's really incredible! Finishing the Jaguar set is tricky. Did you decide to count battlesphere and air cars? It's really cool that you got started a little earlier in life. Hope you can keep it up. Thanks for watching!
@@RNGGamerYT Thanks. Never heard of battlesphere and after looking it up its a yikes price cib. I do have the air cars. Its loose but hoping to find the box later. Only way to afford grail games unless you got them at launch or you're rich is by piecing em together sadly. Am briefly taking a break from retro to focus on 3ds collecting since those prices are rising and love that system.
@@RNGGamerYT True but it was also the first system I bought with my own money and call my own so trying to do this while prices arent egregious is ideal.
That's a huge collection of games you have. I got rid of a lot of games in my collection because they were taking too much shelf space & a lot of games I didn't like sitting on my shelf. I got rid of all my PS3 & 360 games cuz those are games you play & beat once & never replay them. Same goes with games on the PS1 & PS2. I like Resident Evil 4, The Re Series on PS1, Dino Crisis & whatever popular game. Like those games they have save files, so once you beat them, I don't see a point of replaying them. They aren't like the arcade compilations where once you turn it off it's not saved then you replay them over & over.
It definitely takes up a ton of space! That's no doubt. I love to keep the games around for the memories. I still replay games from all generations. But, you're not wrong, it is way easier to jump back in on arcade style games
@@RNGGamerYT Ah ok you collect them for the memories. Yeah that's very cool. Yeah I used to love playing games when I was a kid or young adult. I used to have a huge passion for gaming. Now I lost a lot of passion for gaming. I'll play whatever I seem to like now. Do you have more passion for games now or when you were younger?
I’m awake 😂 ; I saw this on another room tour ; I forget which one but before filming you pull the interesting or games you want to talk about half way out that way it’s easier for you while you film. Although that might extend the length of the video 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for staying awake! And thanks for watching! I know about pulling the games out halfway. I just wanted to keep this video really raw and improvised. 😁
How good is Tiger Helly? I saw that limited run games is putting out a version, but I was considering picking it up. I was wondering how good it is since I can’t find deathtinny for reasonable price
It's a great collection. I have the Japanese version already, but I think picking up the LRG version would be great... if you don't mind waiting a year for it to ship
@@RNGGamerYT I know its a Pi, but what image/frontend/etc are you running? And Pi 3/4 or 5? I want to setup something similar on a bartop and wanted the list of games to see what a Pi was capable of running
I'm awake and hey I finally made my review of Ar Tonelico 1 and 2. I remember mentioning to you that I would make one last year. Well lol it's finally here. Just uploaded it today. Anyway awesome collection. I'd love to have one as big as your but filled with mostly Jrpgs, Shmups, and Japanese fighting games
Kuon is expensive across the board, but it’s the “rarest” game I see the most. I always see it in peoples collection and I see it at games stores pretty often. My closet retro store has like 3 copies.
I see it at conventions pretty frequently. But I've never seen it in any store! Around here, Super Mario World is considered to be a "rare" game according to the shop owners
Where do you buy your offbeat/shmups/Japanese PC games from??? I only ever bought the first Japanese release of Rolling Gunner on PC. Been looking for more physical PC releases like it.
@@RNGGamerYT Is there a site you watch that talks about upcoming PC shumups/etc ? I mostly play PC games but miss a lot of the offbeat stuff like you got, then when I do learn about it, its already sold out, unavailable....
When Xbox came out I was mad at Bill Gates!! I said how much money does he need!!? Leave video games to the professionals. Never owned or played an Xbox. Principles. Another great video man! Sick game room! Thanks
Thanks so much! I'm mixed on the Xbox as a console myself. I'm not really a fan boy of any consoles. I just love games. I'll use whatever console I have to use to play the stuff that looks good to me 😅
Can't resist to nerd out here and making a long ass post, I love this stuff haha. For whatever reason I hope you can answer some of my many questions haha But whut.....like WTF whut????....this is very impressive!! There are some rare people who have complete collections of several machines, but this is very impressive! But some games apparently cost you like $850, damn that's some true true damage... May I ask what your most expensive purchase was? So after watching the entire video I notice you didn't even mention once that you use a scaler (RetroTink, OSSC, Framemeister, etc) for your older machines? Also no modded machines I think? I really love the Vectrex collection, wow! Like the PCEngine/Turbografx collection. Over here in Europe all of those were not really a popular thing. Not even Sega Genesis (which is called Megadrive over here) was all that popular. I recently bought a box-less Genesis Model1 for the purpose of modding with a triple bypass. I might look around for a Power Base to play Master system games though. But no Streets Of Rage 3?? Gamecube and Dreamcast games are a bit on the low amount though, didn't expect that haha. But you telling the Gamecube reminds you of some awful ex is a thing though. Both are just super awesome to me. I was kind of 'disappointed' about the low amount of SNK games though, but that's just my shortcoming haha I see multiple MSX things. C64 was not a thing over there? And you have a CDi, but not the 'crap' Zelda games for it? Is there a reason to get it for anything other than those games? Philips is from my home country and I had early access to the CDi. I really felt it was AWFUL! I'm not that much of a PlayStation player (just absolutely hated the initial loading times of CDROMs), but I'm recently getting into PS3 games. Those are still mostly dirt cheap in my country. Also got a PSOne recently which I had to de-mod to make it work properly with my RetroTink 5x Pro. I hacked my PSP Slim, just for the 'challenge' back then. I had a PS5 and sold it unopened when they were very hard to find initially haha I personally have zero love for anything Xbox. Played a Xbox 360 at a friend when SF4 was a thing and I absolutely hated the fan noise of this thing and I'm also not a fan of their controllers. Original Xbox also near always need capacitor replacements, I'm not bothering with those systems. If I come across friends/colleagues/people who have stuff catching dust I usually buy everything in one go, like you did with a friend for the GameGear. But I am nowhere near the amount of stuff that you have. I did notice you don't seem to have many accessories for your systems. I just love to collect controllers of almost any kind though, also modern stuff like 8Bitdo and I own almost all of their mod kits and wireless dongle solutions. I like the custom Ikaruga style arcade! I have that SNK MVSX cab, but I'm also building an arcade cabinet myself...taking friggin ages due to me requiring to saw my own wooden cabinet but I will finish it this year. Mine will be a 3 system arcade with a HDMI switch. Main system will be MiSTer (actually MiSTerCade v1), second will be a Pi4 (or Pi5) Batocera based 2P Sinden Lightgun system (which of course can also play a lot of non-lightgun emulator based games) and the third can be basically anything and for now will be my original Switch. All machines can use the planned Sanwa/Seimitsu based sticks and buttons and also USB controllers or SNAC/SNAX/BliSTer based stuff. I loved your long video, watched it from start to finish while awake and made a long reply haha Thank you!!
Thank you so much for the comment! I'm glad you got to nerd out on the video. I'll try to address your questions. I've been collecting for about 16 years... and everything just starts to add up over time. Kuon was the most expensive game I've ever bought at $850... but I would spend more for one if it was something I was really looking for. I have a retrotink that I use for capturing gameplay footage. But I play everything on original hardware. If it's retro, I play it on a CRT TV. I love the Vectrex. I don't think it was really a thing anywhere 😆 But I used to own a PAL Vectrex. It traded it away to someone who really wanted it. I don't have streets of Rage 2 or 3. The third one has gotten super expensive. I'm on the lookout for them, though. I love the Gamecube and the Dreamcast. But they are both the HOT thing to collect for right now... so I'll let them cool down a bit before I dive in some more. The C64 was a thing here, but not like it was in Europe. Europe loves computer games, but most people over here preferred them on console. I think of the 20,000 C64 games 1700 released in the US. The other 18,300 were European exclusives. I want one.. but I hate screwing around to get games to run correctly. That seems like the primary complaint of the C64 🤣 I'm interested in the CD-i Zelda games. I've only been collecting for it for a couple of months. There's plenty of time to get some more stuff I love the Xbox 360. It had more interesting games than the PS3. They are cheaper, and it just runs them better. After that, I fell off from Microsoft. I'm not a fan boy of any specific consoles. I just like the games and will play them on whatever console gives the best experience. In general, the consoles aren't that much. So, it's easy to justify buying one for a game or two. I'm more of a gamer than a collector, so I don't really have any desire to collect accessories, memorabilia, statutes, or other game related stuff. It just takes focus away from buying more games 😆 Hopefully, your arcade cabinet project comes together well, and you're able to get the light gun stuff to work. I want to do something similar myself 😄 Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@RNGGamerYT Thanks for the reply! Lovely that you took the time to make a lengthy reply like my post haha! $850 for a game, it must be one hell of nice game then! Kind of makes sense now that you don't seem to have any of the 'mini' consoles, you just want the games and actual consoles if it interests you. Still, the C64 Maxi is nice, it has a functional keyboard and you could replicate a Kung Fu Flash cartridge by just using a USB drive of any kind. My childhood C64C uses tape to load games, yes..very slow loading tapes...I never got around to buying the disk drive for it and nowadays most disk drives are very prone to multiple defects. Which were the reasons to buy an actual Kung Fu Flash cartridge for it. I have Streets Of Rage 2, the only Megadrive game I have actually. Original plastic box with manual etc, picked it up for I think €25 a few months ago and I didn't even have a Megadrive yet haha Dreamcast or anything Sega was/is not a popular thing in my country, but I too have noticed crazy prices for Gamecube games. Even the Gameboy Player without a disc is crazy expensive and without the disc it's useless unless you mod or hack the Gamecube. Makes no sense at all. I don't mod any of my original childhood consoles, I simply bought a second Gamecube and SNES for modding purposes. I (soft)hacked my WiiU, but I removed it later on. But when I bought a Dreamcast it turned out to be modded (or hacked, I still haven't opened it up to see what they did) upon arriving at the address. Wasn't mentioned in the advertisement. My childhood CRT died a while ago and I don't have the skill to try and fix something like that. So I'm using most things by connecting it to a RetroTink 5x Pro currently. I also have an OSSC, but for most things making proper settings is too much of a hassle, so the 5xPro is the main scaler for now. I'm also not that much into collecting most accessories or other game related stuff. Just mainly controllers. For instance the N64 controller's stick is quite prone to damage over time and there will be a time when 'new' (and second hand with proper stick) ones will be hard to get. So I bought the wireless Nintendo NSO N64 controller. You can use that one with a N64 if you get a BlueRetro N64 dongle. And if you sync it with a 8Bitdo Wireless V2 dongle when using it with a Switch, you can remap the controls (of any NSO controller) which is not possible (yet) if syncing it directly to the Switch. I don't have the money available to get the games I want for all the consoles I own, so NSO and similar solutions are my options at the moment. One accessory I have is really nice though, it's a cartridge reader and flashing device so I can make backups of all my cartridges and their save games and I can even flash save games and modded versions of games back to the cartridge. I don't use it that much, but I really like that one. Ow, that 2P Sinden Lightgun setup is working perfectly. I am currently using a Pi4, which did require a proper heatsink and overclocking to get NAOMI, Atomiswave and Dreamcast games to run properly. The Sinden Discord was super helpful to get that last part properly done. Edit: That's weird, my last reply went missing, I must have clicked delete instead of edit? Anyway, this is the cartridge reader and flashing device I have. This is a pre-made version, but it's actually an open source project. This version has less cartridge slots than the current open-source version, but it cab use adapter boards for more cartridge types: My pre-made version: savethehero.builders/products/open-source-cartridge-reader-v3-alter-build-service?variant=42673214292187 The open-source project's Github: github.com/sanni/cartreader I also didn't mention this, but I also have these for my Gamecube and PSOne. They very recently released a version for the PS2. Awesome devices for your save games! 8bitmods.com/accessories/memcard-pro/ Btw, I have the C64 Mini, but the non-functional keyboard is just annoying. Which was the reason for mentioning the C64 Maxi which has that and also an additional USB port. And I guess there is currently no reason to add the original C64 games to your backlog because you can't use them with either the C64 Mini or Maxi yet. As far as I know there is no USB based device compatible with either the Mini or Maxi version. There are some C64 games that had involvement of their original programmers to make a ROM for preservation purposes, simply because at some point all tape drives and disk drives will die. I will end here, I can go on for far too long with this stuff haha Thanks again for your reply and have a nice weekend!
@MrOpz thanks for replying back! I always try to answer any questions if I have the time. Kuon is $850... but it's supposed to be janky as crap. But, usually like that kind of stuff. So I'm looking forward to it I looked into the C64 mini. But if I got one, ALL of those games would be added to my backlog, and that's just too much. I would rather have an original where I could curate it better. I know the Megadrive wasn't super popular around most of Europe. It must be a nightmare to collect for. I'll mod a console to give it a nicer output for collecting gameplay footage, but that's about it. I have a real sensitivity to input lag, and that makes emulators and other 3rd party consoles a struggle for me. The retrotink is great! It's probably all you need. I've been playing most of my retro stuff on a CRT computer monitor. It looks great I can see why people collect controllers. I find it to be very intriguing myself. But there're are only so many things one can concentrate on. 😅 That cartridge reader sounds cool for backing up your saves. I should probably get something like that. Also, I'm really glad you got the light gun system to work. I hardly ever touch my arcade MAME machine. Have a great rest of your weekend as well!
I've been gaming since 1977 at age 9 and collecting since 1985 since the release of the NES till today. I own almost every console used and new in there boxes even own multiple NEO-GEO AES consoles new with 159 games. Are any of these consoles and games are from your childhood and when did you start collecting
That's awesome! How incredible that you were able to hang on to all of your childhood consoles! Unfortunately, my family had to sell all of my childhood games for financial reasons. I wish I could have kept some of them. I started collecting seriously in about 2008.
@@RNGGamerYT Sorry to here that .My family were in the same boat with 5 of us. It got easier when we all started working supporting each other back in the mid 80's. Today we are all doing great supporting our own families. Great to see you did the same enjoy and pass it on to your kids if you have.
One last thing you can see how well looked after it all is dust free and extremely good condition, mines half the size and it’s a pain to dust so I know how much hard work it is 😂
Can u give an idea how much each console collection costs? Or total how much u put out to attain all this? I have an inventory with about $22k spent so far on all my collections of videogames, but I don't have nearly as much as u. I have about 100 PS4 games, but all in steelbooks. I also have a movie and book collection with about $7700 spent on books and $3700 spent on movies. I like how u give examples of how much something really cost u, instead of being like every other youtuber collector saying they've been collecting for decades, and got all their stuff dirt cheap before everything boomed. Yeah right, nobody believes that.
@@RNGGamerYT Hm, not bad investment...especially if physical media goes away. U'll have a gold mine sitting in your house. But thanks for the info. Puts things into perspective. I guess what most of my videogame collection is going to are my sealed playstation consoles, like the ps4 20th anniversary, ps4 500 million edition, psone, ps2, and ps3. But endless amount of games to play when I retire eventually.
@Wondermooses I typically only buy things I want to play or look interesting. However, if there's a really good deal on something, I might grab it. Of course, I would love to complete the full NES set, but I'm not actively going for it
I'm awake brother lol. I love room tours. I enjoy seeing how people display stuff and utilize their space. Awesome as always.
Thanks for staying awake!
I enjoy seeing people utilize space as well. I'm actually fascinated by it!
If someone decides to perform a "heist," they are going to have their work cut out for them 😅
@@RNGGamerYT Good to hear.
My family also lives in a safe neighborhood near a police station too.
I'm awake but I'm working listening only through my earphones so I better get back to it 😆 awesome vids as always mate 👊
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you listening at work
Wow! Really cool game room! It’s overwhelming 🎉
Thanks! It feels really small compared to some of the other collectors I know 🤣
Your room is so nicely displayed and tidy! What a treat to go through your collection! Happy 2024 filled with new pick ups!!🎉
Thanks so much! A clean and organized room is a happy room
Omg I’m soooooooo jealous right now. I thought having my og Nintendo was cool but this is just amazing. Lots of hard work and dedication have gone into this man cave. Mucho respecto compadre.
Thank you so much! I've been working on it for years and years
Nice GR! Nice Atari 50 review too, exactly what buyers were lookin' for, not like the lazy reviews from other channels!
A double compliment! Thanks so much. I'm really glad you enjoyed both videos
Very cool gameroom love how clean and organized everything is!
Thanks so much! It was a lot of fun...and a lot of work putting it all together
Thoroughly enjoyed it sir! I strive to have an awesome game room like this one day!
Thanks for watching, brother! I really appreciate it.
I'll be watching your new video in just a little while
Awesome Game room! Took me a few days to get through this video with how much I had to pause and look up! Please make a video with more info around your Ikaruga cab! Did you hand make it yourself? It’s just the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! I need to make a Cave one!
Thanks for watching! The cabinet was made by RecRoomMasters! They have a graphic designer, and she customized it the way I wanted
Thanks for having me on in the background! I watch TH-cam when I do chores, too.
Yes...I have Antarctica 88... I'm not sure how I feel about that 😅
Love the collection! So many quality games in this room! Love all of the Collectors Editions and big boxes! They look great on display! Keep up the great work!
Thanks! That's a huge compliment coming from you! You have the best game room I've ever seen. Even better than Joel Hopkins!
@@RNGGamerYT I appreciate that. :) Definitely can tell you take pride in it! Love the Vectrex games all displayed. One of my favorites to play! Definitely have to do something better with my switch collectors editions.
Collector's editions are always such a disaster. I basically gave up on them last year...
@@RNGGamerYT Yup and when you want to display the items and the box too it’s hard to fit it all!
I usually put these types of videos on to go to sleep, not that they're boring or anything, just that it works, but I'm watching this one full screen on my desktop. Eyes glued! Nice collection! I hope to someday get mine all set up to display. It's kind of everywhere.
I'm so thankful that you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
When you get yours all set up, you'll have to show me!
"some obscure stuff like god of war ragnarok" i love the jokes in the vids! and such amazing room you have there.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoy my humor... my wife would disagree with you 😅
I love your collection! Amazing seeing so many games! Looking forward to more of your videos!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to check out the channel.
I said it once and I'll say it again, you have one of the most amazing collections. Simply awesome and the video shows that you really love it and care for it.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. I enjoy it every day
Awesome Game room, you have quite the collection, and at the beginning of the video, you said nobody really likes the Intellivision game's, I happen to love the Intellivision game's, my sister and I got the Intellivision and the Sears Brand Atari 2600 either Christmas if 1979, or 1980, I don't remember what happened to our original Intellivision system, but a couple of year's ago, my best friend and I went to the San Jose Super Toy Show in California where we live, and a vendor was selling one for $90.00, I offered him $70.00 for it, he wouldn't go that low, so I asked him if I bought for $90.00 would he throw in my favorite game for the system Astrosmash, he said he would, and the I saw Space Battle, and asked him how much for that game, he said he'd throw that game in as well, so I paid him $90.00 ,plus he also threw in a a yellow connector so it will hook up to a TV that has av cable hook ups, so you don't need the TV switch connector you know the one's to hook up on the back of old Crtv's to switch from channel 3, or 4. It's the best money I spent that year
That's an awesome story! Thanks for watching.
I love the Intellivision, obviously. But a lot of people in the comments always talk about how much they hate old games from the second generation. So, I always joke about how no one likes it.
I want to do a whole video on it soon
@@RNGGamerYT, I look forward to that video when you do it
9:33. OMG!! I LOVED Dragon Force as a kid!! Happy happy day's!!
It's probably my favorite saturn game!
Keep on grinding, RNG gamer, and have a happy 2024. My favourite video-game of the year 2023 is Octopath Traveler 2.
Thanks! I'll keep at it.
Happy New Year to you as well.
I still haven't played the first Octopath Traveler, but I'm looking forward to both
Awesome tour man, your collection is epic! Was super interesting to see it all! Sunset Riders is an awesome game in the SNES for sure, personal favorite.
Thanks, brother! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch. Sunset Riders is so incredible
Awesome collection... nice little mini game museum going on! Narration had me cracking up several times
I'm so glad I could make you laugh!! Thanks for taking the time to comment
"7th Guest" is soooo great! Piano puzzle was beyond me.
I know I'll get stuck on every puzzle 🤣
Love seeing your collection! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you liked the collection. I do too 😁
nice footage what camera do you use?
It's a Sony ZV-1F
Aw man, this collection is sick. You must be very proud
I'm very proud of it! I've been working on it for a very long time
Delighted with your collection. really. very satisfying for a game fan to watch this. congratulations

Thank you so much! I'm really delighted with the collection as well.
Hello, down in Brazil
I watched the whole thing! Wow, what an amazing collection.
Thank you so much! The whole point of having a collection is for sharing it with other people!
#GOALS! Your collection is amazing. Mine grew a decent amount last year but I am truly jealous. Such a sweet gameroom.
Thanks so much for all of your support! I certainly picked up a bunch of stuff
This guy: I play all these games, there are no filler.
Also this guy: All these games are sealed.
I haven't played them yet! I'm getting to them 😁 I play plenty of games
He has multiple version of things like Hollow Knight and someone could keep it/them sealed and have the digital version. But you do have a point haha
That's one I've never seen in the wild
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment! I really appreciate your support
Amazing game room buddy. Im about half way through the video now :) Happy New Year dude
Thanks, man! Enjoy the video!
Happy New Years!
@@RNGGamerYT Thanks buddy i will do :)
@davpreec I'm glad I could make you laugh!
I hope you can make the stream tomorrow night... I might need your help to finish it off
@@RNGGamerYT Yeah hopefully i will make it to the stream buddy :)
Phenomenal collection!!! That NES collection alone is pristine. I can see why you want to get Little Sampson. Also, I’m glad that you brought attention to The Red Star and Magna Carta 2. Those games are highly underrated.
I really appreciate you watching so closely!
Little Samson would be a great find! Possibly someday 😄
7th Guest right at the start!!! Couldn’t get enough back in the day. Still have mine but no computer to play it on.
I have it on PC as well! I've never finished it. But, I spent the better part of a summer watching my friend get stuck over and over 😆
Ahh, I've been waiting for this video. Was very much awake, haha.
Nobody talks about Donut County, I have the Switch version. I ended up playing through the whole game when we had a blackout one night, good time.
Thanks for waiting! These videos are fun to do, but you can't do them too often.
That sounds like a fun time with Donut County!
Watched all the way through, great stuff dude
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch
My Lord that collection is absolutely incredible amazing!!
I'm so glad you like it! It's a real pleasure being down there and enjoying it. The goal was to be surrounded by the games I love
@@RNGGamerYT I’d say mission accomplished :)
We're getting there 😁
Great games room buddy and I like the Ghosts and Goblins Arcade it looks amazing.
If I need more room, it'll be the first thing to go 😅
Totally caught me watching this to fall asleep lol
Cool game room man
Thanks! I really appreciate that
That’s an impressive collection 👍 i loved the dark souls poster as well. Did you try the game “Lies of P”? As a big souls fan I was blown away by how close it was to those games
Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video.
I got Lies of P for Christmas, but it's still in the backlog. I'm really looking forward to playing it
That's some collection Rng. So how many games are in your backlog? And are you buying more than you could possibly play?
Thanks! I've been working on the collection for a long time... about 16 years.
I actually know the exact number of games in my backlog...1516
And yeah..
The next one will be more highly edited... in 2026 🤣
I'm so thrilled you enjoy my content. Your approval means a lot to me
Nice. I have around 3000 games in my room too. However, your room is so much bigger than mine.
I'm so lucky that I have such a big space. It's oddly shaped, but I have some room to grow.
3000 games is no joke. How long have you been collecting?
Awesome video! What brand shelves are the ones the nes carts and other games are on?
Thanks so much for watching!
They are Oskar Atlantic shelves. They sell them in a bunch of different sizes. I like them because they aren't very deep and free up a lot of space in the room
@@RNGGamerYT thank you very much! I will check them out
@jwood9867 you're welcome!
Amazing looking at your collection RNG. I still haven't scratched the surface on your videos that you have to offer and this one already takes the cake. What goodies you have bro. 8^)
Anthony..
Thanks so much!
You should come out to the stream tonight so we can talk in real-time!
Ya mentioned towards the beginning some people watch these game room tour vids to go to sleep to. I uh...fell asleep sitting up at my desk watching :P
Awesome collection though XD I woke back up about halfway through.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I fall asleep to these videos all of the time as well.
It's kind of one of the reasons I didn't edit it down
@@RNGGamerYT Sometimes if I'm just busy doing something like, cleaning, or restoring something, etc I always like having these videos playing in the background too just so I'm not in total silence haha
Watching this episode 15-20 mins at a time but damn man always impressive to see your setup and collection in such great detail 🙌🏾
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it.
I feel like this video could have been 15 hours long. I wish I could talk about each and every game
This is so overwhelming. May take me a week to complete. Looking forward to it. 🍿
It's an odyssey!!! Thanks for watching 🤣
Loving the framed posters too very nice
I can get you in touch with someone who will take it off your hands
i have over 1100 ps4 games and you still have a ton i don't have awesome collection keep physical alive.
You have no idea how happy I am to hear that you were able to see some games you don't have!
1100 PS4 games is incredible! Congrats!
I just woke up when he started talking about “ppl watch this to go to sleep “ lol 😂 but I do watch until most if not all of it back eventually especially when ppl have cool rooms like this
Thanks for watching! Glad I could wake you up 🤣
26:25 Blokus for the PSP! I thought I was the only one who owned this game. The Steambot Chronicles spinoff game nobody wanted. About as rare and loved as Hatris.
I'm excited to try out Blokus! Thanks for watching
@harleygamerquinn3861 good idea going for the 3DS right now! It's undervalued!
@@RNGGamerYT True but it was also the first system I bought with my own money and call my own so trying to do this while prices arent egregious is ideal.
I hope you find some really good deals!
Looking sharp!
Thanks so much! Did you remember to dress accordingly?
Absolutely not! Haha. Love your channel though!
@sfbsfb I'm thrilled you do!
I am awake :p Enjoyed the video! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for staying awake! I'm thrilled you liked the video
@@RNGGamerYT thank you. I’ll probably end up picking it up then
@Talex-jb8bp all of the M2 Shottriggers releases are worth picking up!
Yeah, this was a nice room and a good video!
Thanks so much!
Also do you have a list of what arcade games you have on that Ikaruga cabinet?
It's like 5000 games!

Awesome collection by the way!
I see it at conventions pretty frequently. But I've never seen it in any store! Around here, Super Mario World is considered to be a "rare" game according to the shop owners
Thanks so much!
AWESOME……looks like you may need more room soon…….my psx hard drive works and ps2 but ps1 doesn’t seen to read…..take care
Thanks! It's awesome your PSX works at all
I’m awake LOL.

You guys convinced me to buy Robocop Rogue City!
Where do you buy your offbeat/shmups/Japanese PC games from??? I only ever bought the first Japanese release of Rolling Gunner on PC. Been looking for more physical PC releases like it.
I get a ton of that stuff from Playasia and Amazon Japan!
@@RNGGamerYT Is there a site you watch that talks about upcoming PC shumups/etc ? I mostly play PC games but miss a lot of the offbeat stuff like you got, then when I do learn about it, its already sold out, unavailable....
@@RNGGamerYT Will you ever do a PC Collection video??? Any big box or Japanese import PC games. Would be cool to see since I am a mostly PC player
@neccros007 yeah, I'll do one eventually. I have to spread out the collections videos so people don't get burned out

that virtua fighter kids looks great. Ive also made it this far lol
Thanks for watching, brother! I really appreciate it.
I'll use whatever console I have to use to play the stuff that looks good to me 😅
Man, this is a 1 million USD collection right here
It's really not even close to that! It's barely 1/10th that much 😁
I may have asked before can’t remember. I need a room like this. What state you in so I can move there lmao
Come on down to the South!
Can't resist to nerd out here and making a long ass post, I love this stuff haha. For whatever reason I hope you can answer some of my many questions haha
But whut.....like WTF whut????....this is very impressive!!
I was kind of 'disappointed' about the low amount of SNK games though, but that's just my shortcoming haha
I see multiple MSX things.
I had a PS5 and sold it unopened when they were very hard to find initially haha
I personally have zero love for anything Xbox.
I loved your long video, watched it from start to finish while awake and made a long reply haha
Thank you!!
That seems like the primary complaint of the C64 🤣
I'm interested in the CD-i Zelda games. I've only been collecting for it for a couple of months. There's plenty of time to get some more stuff
I love the Xbox 360.
It just takes focus away from buying more games 😆
Hopefully, your arcade cabinet project comes together well, and you're able to get the light gun stuff to work. I want to do something similar myself 😄
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Original plastic box with manual etc, picked it up for I think €25 a few months ago and I didn't even have a Megadrive yet haha
Dreamcast or anything Sega was/is not a popular thing in my country, but I too have noticed crazy prices for Gamecube games.
Edit:
That's weird, my last reply went missing, I must have clicked delete instead of edit?
Anyway, this is the cartridge reader and flashing device I have. This is a pre-made version, but it's actually an open source project.
This version has less cartridge slots than the current open-source version, but it cab use adapter boards for more cartridge types:
My pre-made version: savethehero.builders/products/open-source-cartridge-reader-v3-alter-build-service?variant=42673214292187
The open-source project's Github: github.com/sanni/cartreader
I also didn't mention this, but I also have these for my Gamecube and PSOne. They very recently released a version for the PS2.
Awesome devices for your save games! 8bitmods.com/accessories/memcard-pro/
Btw, I have the C64 Mini, but the non-functional keyboard is just annoying.
I will end here, I can go on for far too long with this stuff haha
Thanks again for your reply and have a nice weekend!
@MrOpz thanks for replying back! I always try to answer any questions if I have the time.
Kuon is $850... but it's supposed to be janky as crap. But, usually like that kind of stuff. So I'm looking forward to it
I looked into the C64 mini.
It looks great
I can see why people collect controllers. I find it to be very intriguing myself. But there're are only so many things one can concentrate on. 😅
That cartridge reader sounds cool for backing up your saves. I should probably get something like that.
Also, I'm really glad you got the light gun system to work. I hardly ever touch my arcade MAME machine.
Have a great rest of your weekend as well!
@@RNGGamerYT I added links to the cart reader and other save game preservation devices in my previous post.
Great collection. Chapters would help for such a long video though…maybe by system/console
Thanks! You're not wrong!
TH-cam usually goes through and autochapters everything for me by this point... it looks like the A.i. is lazier than I am 😅
Without the beard he looks exactly like Smithers O'Neill from SkyCorp
You found you my secret 😅
I’m awake great game collection
Thanks for staying awake and watching! Hope you can make it to the stream tonight!
@@RNGGamerYT I will be there I was wondering when your next stream would be.
@malo1291 they are always at 8pm CST on Sundays!
How did you get your PC CRT and Trinitron CRT?
They both cam from thrift stores!
@sinchman1 thanks for the kind words! Glad to hear that your family was able to all work together
I watched it once going to sleep then once awake 😂
That's what I like to hear!
Oh man I hope your here in Toronto and if you are can I come hang out with you for a day just gaming?
You can come hang out and play! But I'm a long, long, way from Toronto 😅
I’m watching it in the background while I cook dinner.
Thanks, brother! That's what these videos are for!
Sure, I'll try to do so. What time do you start?
Anthony..
8pm CST!
What was that 360 greatest shooter ?
Mushihimesama Futari!
One last thing you can see how well looked after it all is dust free and extremely good condition, mines half the size and it’s a pain to dust so I know how much hard work it is 😂
Dusting the room is a nightmare! Obviously, you know 😅 my 9 year old did a lot of the dusting in exchange for some ice cream
@@RNGGamerYT 😂
Can u give an idea how much each console collection costs? Or total how much u put out to attain all this? I have an inventory with about $22k spent so far on all my collections of videogames, but I don't have nearly as much as u. I have about 100 PS4 games, but all in steelbooks. I also have a movie and book collection with about $7700 spent on books and $3700 spent on movies. I like how u give examples of how much something really cost u, instead of being like every other youtuber collector saying they've been collecting for decades, and got all their stuff dirt cheap before everything boomed. Yeah right, nobody believes that.
I got some of my stuff a long time ago when it was super cheap. But most of it, I played the same as everyone else
I spent about $50k. It's worth about 2.5x that amount
Im awake still 😁 and wondering how many Nes games do you have?
Thanks for staying awake!
If you include the Famicom games, it's 463
@@RNGGamerYT Wow thats alot of games. Are you aiming for something special or do you just love the system?
@Wondermooses I typically only buy things I want to play or look interesting. However, if there's a really good deal on something, I might grab it.
Of course, I would love to complete the full NES set, but I'm not actively going for it
Most iconic disk in there Halo 2 Multiplayer map pack ❤🔥🔥❤🔥
Haha, really!?!
No Kingsfield IV on the ps2? sacrilegious! :D
It's there! It's the only King's Field game released in the US on the PS2
Vampire killer msx...respect
I love having it!
I’m awake!😂 just wondering what psp or vita stuff you have because damn……..you got a lot😊
Thanks for staying awake to watch!
I have some PSP and Vita stuff, but it's not one of my larger collections
I just sold divinity II with the soundtrack sealed
That's pretty cool! It had an amazing soundtrack!
Not bad
Thanks! These are always fun to do
