Its incredible the level of detail and regalia on this figure. The guys at JoyToy are making a fine job here. Think there may be new materials and manufacture techniques involved. This figures are awesome. Last week i found an acid rain figure, and it is great but not so much as this w40k figures. This is worth the money. Fantastic review brother Sprues, keep it up! Thanks
I am a big fan of this figure. I think the gold is a nice contrast compared to the BT regular black, white, and red. The only thing I cringe with is obviously the face...it really needs better work
I love your videos! I would suggest adding a portion going over the articulation. I know the marines get limited and similar posing but it's neat to see the small variances there are.
Thank you! I appreciate your support by watching the vids. I typically will add an articulation segment on my videos if there is a new type of armor or a new type of figure. For example in my Shrike video I did a short one because of the addition of the engines on the back of the legs as well as the grav-chute
Helbrecht is awesome! A must have. Finally got Rolantus ... for 140 US last month. Just found another for 50 USD. Now I am lucky to have two plus champion Bayard's Revenge, so Helbrecht and Baldeckrath are well guarded. Waiting for Grimaldus, the Kastellan and Tankred, the Dreadnought from Dan Abnett's comic. Would be an awesome display.
Humongous amount of details. Sweet! Need to finish painting the miniature of him someday. So, what do you say, is this figure is one of the best ones, on par with Grey Knights and Custodes?
@@SpruesNStuds Unpopular opinion, but I think that Crowe figure is overrated. His helmet is too big, his waist is too small, his unhelmeted head has no shading (in the second release I own), his wrists are too loose to hold his sword, and he doesn’t even have a fisted hand for his wrist bolter. The Voldus figure is much better.
Great review. My Helbrecht was delivered to me just yesterday. It's awesome. The only bad thing about Helbrecht is that it might be the end (or at the very best the sharp slow down) of the Black Templars line. And they are my favorites. I got them all, including the Redemptor Dreadnought. I hope they squeeze some more.
Nice! I hope that you enjoy Mr. Grimace. From the looks of it, JT did exhaust a lot of the BT line but they still need to produce Grimaldus as well as the Castellan
I greatly appreciate their work on armor and design - yet the face looks awful closely, Pale with rosy makeup and spirited grim bald face is scary even more than previous marshal! But I like the helmeted head, so it won't be a problem - now my collection of JT BTs is almost complete (I don't own any BT redemptor or bike, just "infantry"!). The only other defect is making the lantern pose like in the pictures - the soft plastic has a lot of "memory" and does not want to stay down - we'll see with time! Thanks for you review, brother!
Brother Mario thanks for the continued, strong support. It seems like a lot of the community aren't fans of Helbrechts face. I kind of wish that JT used the face of the Primaris version miniature rather than this one
Hey new subscriber! I would love to have some comparisons shots in you’re reviews. When you see this figures next to previews releases or more of the army it makes me want to buy it even more! Plus you have already a big collection!
Sure. When there is an equivalent action fig, I will usually do a side by side review/ comparison. If you take a look at the Bayard's Revenge review, I compare Bayard with the regular Emperor's champion.
@@SpruesNStuds yeah but maybe a shot with your army or some other version, similar figures etc. I collect 6 inch figures and reviewers tend to make shots of that and really helps. Even maybe a different weapon, accesory or head i dont know.
Well, I am a Black Templars collector but not a Warhammer hardcore fan, so Golden Nosferatu on steroids here is a pass for me. I'll keep my Templars nice and black and, should JT be allowed to unleash their creative juices, I will get a Helsreach fan animation-accurate Grimaldus as the highest ranking figure for my collection.
I think that we are definitely waiting for a Grimaldus action figure. We shall see if JT decides to produce one (given how popular the BT are, I think that this would be a no brainer).

Yup, I think all BT fans are waiting for Grimaldus....including me. We shall see what the future holds!
I think, it was a big mistake to release Helbrecht without these cool servants as on original miniature.

So, what do you say, is this figure is one of the best ones, on par with Grey Knights and Custodes?
He is very highly detailed for sure. Probably at least top 5 WH40K action figures for this year. He is definitely on par with Crowe

Where's Grimaldus!!?
@@SoulBrother_01 Exactly, brother. They stopped short before Grimaldus. What a bummer.

Thanks for the cool review, I wonder what the blood angel skull is doing on his shoulder and Iron Hands )

I'll take what you suggest in consideration for sure
One downside of this High Marshal action figure is the robotic hand, it is very weak to hold the sword for image posing.
You are correct. The grip is not as tight as a regular hand.
wow cool chatacter intro . that would be nice for every named figure
You're in luck because I do intros for all special characters
Are you making the Helbrecht face in the thumbnail? 😂
You are 1000% correct
one of my favorite wh40k characters
Yeah he's pretty cool looking...minus the weird grimace which I don't understand too much even on the miniature
@@SpruesNStuds YOU are right, i keep the helmet on!
I guess Fat joe can play Helbrect in a movie. Awesome review, can't wait to get him!
Hahaha now that you mentioned it, I can see the resemblance
kul i ordered mephisto! for Sanguinius!
thanks for reviewing, can't wait till mine arrives, but the face sculpture....i will stick with the helmet
Helmets are better anyway. I kept the helmet even on Roboute Guilliman, despite him having a very good face.
I can see why you would want the helmeted version
