Hey, I watched your video but I may have missed somthing. How do I secure a sector, I have several patrols in each sector and no enemy station's
@@Ray-ms2xy There are probably outlaw stations in that sector, that is probably why the security status of that sector isn't changing. Or there are bandit ships in the outskirts of the sector.

Is there an undocumented noob mode or something where your hull and components regenerate at the start of an universe?
No, its a feature. Your hull and shield will automatically heal over time.
I found a exploit that is very op. When i attack a building then instantly enter hypersleep and exit they dont get angry at all meaning i can damage the building without angering that faction/freelancer. I dont know if it applys to ships. Theres also another one which is when i enter hypersleep and exit projectiles/attacks despawns meaning anyone can avoid damage. I can also use hypersleep to manipulate rng and make a ship abandon when fighting another ship with critical hull. It is too op.

Hi, thanks, this video is very informative! In many places the clicking around was very fast and hard to keep up with, but I just re-watched it a few times. Questions: When you build a factory, how exactly does that earn you money? Do you get a percentage of the sale whenever a cargo ship buys their finished products? And is that only if you have an HQ in the sector, or does the HQ increase the percentage you already get? Does the factory use your money when it buys the microchips etc. it needs to manufacture goods, or do they use their own virtual cash for that? And is there any benefit to build, say, a jewelry factory close to your refinery so it can use your own source of gold and diamonds? I tried setting up a production chain using trade orders but it didn't work, so I'm thinking I don't understand enough about the mechanics of these buildings. Thanks!
When you sell materials to an AI faction factory, they give you money for giving them the materials, this doesn't work on you own factories. Trade statios uses these products that factories use to create credits, theres a timer on the station, when it ends the product is sold and it earns you money, you can see the timer when you scan the station and go to the "Factory" tab. Traders you ordered to trade uses your money. Building a factory near a refinery greatly increases efficiency of the factory and building factory near Trade stations also increases efficiency of the trade station. Understanding the mechanics of IP is really hard even for veterans. Hope this clears thing up.
Edit: Tax was added so when a AI faction does a transaction in your owned sector, they will be taxed and the taxed money goes to you.

What is the best weapon for late game large ships? I am using a mix of artillery and lasers, but the lasers eat up lots of power and the artillery seems to be very bad at destroying shields
The best weapon is the Laser V, you could only equip them on cruisers and battleships(Overlord and Magnus).
the plasma burst is for shields... if you are going ;aser, go ALL laser

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, you can't ally with "major" factions. But you can ally with freelance mercenaries, thats the only way to make ally. Or you can use the unity editor of IP2. More details at the IP discord server.

Hey I’ve been playing this game for a long time and there’s 1 thing I never know. How do you improve your sector security? it’s so vague the only thing I know how to improve it. Is to have a lot of Overlord & Magnus in a current sector or have a lot & lot of small ships. Do you have a definitive answer and help me?
And also build stations in that sectoe. Those are the three ways of improving "security" of a sector.
