That Hulk statue is amazing. I think the concept was: Bruce Banner was trapped in the liquid filled tube. He became the Hulk and escaped, so now he is pissed. S7 Customs is amazing painter!!! I cant get over how well he did with it. The drool effect is amazing! That is a 7K to 10K piece. It is a work of art!

Killer sculpt. Jason absolutely killed the paint on this. That's easily a 3k-3.5k paint job at 100 hours of work. Such a bad ass piece.

Been waiting to see this one for ages. This piece reminds me of Ang Lee's hulk in terms of the base (not the actual hulk figure). The guy did an amazing job on the paint. Definitely top 2 with transformation hulk.
That statue sorta replicates the scene in the early 2000 Hulk movie where the military took Banner and was doing experiments on him. Of course he turned into the Hulk and broke out.

Wow!!! I’m a huge Hulk collector and this one is overall one of the best I’ve seen. The paint work takes it to the next level!! I’d like to see this next to the LBS Hulk coming out soon. Value is all what you make of it. I’m paying over 6k for the Godzilla vs Kong diorama and I have no problem with it. But I’m a big fan of the Monsterverse and Hulk. Most people will see it as way overpriced. This is one of the most impressive pieces I’ve seen so far. Thanks for sharing.
Almost 6k for godzilla vs kong and news out there that godzilla is made out of vinyl! Not the best paint job from p1 as much as I was looking forward to this piece it was a huge disappointment 😢
@@ksks4205 I’ve already confirmed part of it is vinyl. Just like the Godzilla bust, the dorsal plates are a vinyl, but the remainder of the statue is all poly stone. First time hearing about a problem with a paint app, a few people I’ve chatted with who have the Godzilla part of the diorama said the paint was fantastic. Prime one always hits it out of the park, I seriously doubt they would fall short on this piece.
Reminds me of the 2003 Hulk scene where he breaks out of the base. It seems like a comic version of that scene. Awesome statue.

I've been looking forward to this review and this statue is epic! I love the optional base but this main one is just terrific. The realism is outstanding, and I feel really speaks to the quality of the sculpt & paint. This Hulk looks like he just jumped out of a comic book, and the more I look at him it feels like he is moving. I think this is one the best statues I've ever seen 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Just blows away a lot of 1/4 scale HULK statues I've seen. Not sure if it's worth $3000 but if the price range was around $2000 definitely worth it.

This is one of the best Hulk statues I’ve seen. You were right when you talked about how it looks better with that base rather than just a rock base like we are used to. As far as the paint I am speechless, I want to say amazing but don’t think that covers it. Great statue all in all and I would say it was definitely worth the wait.
Hulk. Very cool sculpt and paint. Love the eyes. Really well done. Vein work and hulk shading is outstanding. I think that the hair is the only thing that might have been done better. Maybe hair implants. Pretty Xtreme. Incredible.

Amazing Statue 🤩 my god !! I think it's definitely top 3 hulk statue for sure and even at the value of 5k-7k for it even though it's a 1/4scale the base and paint job makes up for it for sure. One last thing..."thats what she said" just saying what you were holding back on the video 😂hoping your hands not shaking anymore and until the next video. ✌
I watched that Jason interview it was awesome :) You should do more of them. I wouldn't rank it as number 1 but top 5 (taking into account I run into random statues I didn't even know existed alot)
Best HULK diorama for sure..IF it's not the best overall, then it's 2nd. Awesome statue, fantastic painting job..Love the lighting effects.

I would either say this is the best or Bruce transformation. Either way the sculpt on this is really really good. S7 absolutely killed the paint on this. Plus that base and the stairs over all size. Love it

I remember the days when items like this were ONLY available as UNPAINTED and UNASSEMBLED resin kits in the 1990's. Hand sculpted and NO 3d printing.
Well since this Hulk piece is way out of my financial league all I can say is congratulations on finally getting it. I love the rage look on the portrait and the paint job is amazingly done. To me it looks like Banner tried to cure himself of the beast by putting himself in a chamber that would reduce the radiation of the Gamma rays. When the Hulk felt the stress and the effect of the procedure, it made him angry and in a survival mode Banner transformed into the monster breaking out of the chamber enraged and wanting to escape. The whole lab with lighted effects is beautifully done. I also like the rock base with the Gamma bomb stuck on the ground being that was the way he was created in the first place but not a fan of the water pouring out with the green rat. It is suprising that for what you paid on this Hulk you could have gotten two Maestro on throne with all the extras but who am I to tell you how to spend your money. Congratulations on getting it and it does look incredible. Thanks for sharing with us.
DAMN, THAT THING IS AN INCREDIBLE BEAST. I SAW WHEN THE SCULPTURE GOT HIS KIT. HE LOVED IT, EVEN HE SAID THAT IT WAS BIG. IT LOOKS LIKE THE TUBE THAT HE BROKE OUT OF. IN THE ERIC BANNA HULK MOVIE. The statue is incredible, he did such a great job on the paint, love the saliva in the mouth, then the eyes almost glow, they look amazing. The lights in the capsule look so good, really adds to the piece.
As the world's biggest Hulk fan, I can say this is freaking phenomenal. (Hulk became Hulk from a bomb blast, not lab accident... well not the comic Hulk.)

Awesome Hulk statue. Do I think it's a 7K statue.....even with the awesome paint and light up feature I would have to pass. Everything about it is cool, but I would've like to see more of the tank/cannister behind him. I think that's where a lot of these big pieces fall short. Maybe if the cannister was upright and to the side some, it would display better cause you could see it? None the less it's an awesome statue. Thanks for sharing it with us, Mr.X.

Thanks for sharing Jason’s paint work on this awesome comic book sculpt piece! Now I’m moody for a 1/4 Juggernaut or a World War Hulk (if made).
For me Hulk was created when Rick Jones went out onto the gamma bomb testing site and Bruce Banner went out to save him, pushing him into a ditch. That's a cool origin with some selflessness to it vs the movies. This statue has a small(too small for Hulk) tube like Bruce Banner is imprisoned in it, and he's broken free and has become the Hulk(with the freshly gushing fluid. It doesn't make sense for the Hulk to seek gamma radiation. He always wants to be left alone or satisfy some rudimentary if/then logic. Hulk already thinks he's the strongest one there is, and he generally gets madder until he is. I was thinking the two flaws with the statue were the back fluid part you pointed out, and also the stretchy black sections on his pants. The paint is really good. I also like that he's a bit bubbly with his muscles like some body builders. Still, I prefer XM transformation, Iron Studios missile and Wolverine vs Hulk. The eyes remind me of the David Banner telegraphed transformation from the tv show.

This looks like a recreation of the scene in the 2003 Hulk film where bruce turns into the hulk in a water chamber. Bruce was sedated in this water chamber and begins to have nightmares and turns into the hulk and breaks out of the chamber that was supposed to contain him. It did not hold him well haha. Overall my interpretation of the piece is that it is a recreation of that scene in which the hulk is breaking from from a chamber.
FYI Gamma radiation is the most extreme type of light and energy the sun gives off. If you come in contact with gamma rays you are basically dead and looking at radiation poising. So the tank being filled with gamma doesnt make sense (granted its comics). I think the water is green because the water is murky (so it was done for style).

Hulk rocks! Don't know Jason but he did a hell of a paint job.
Looks amazing, but shame it kind of got some of the shine rubbed off due to the wait and cost. Those feelings hopefully will fade with time and I think it will be your favorite Hulk(assuming you can fit that big base in your display)

i like how this statue pays homage to the 2003 hulk movie when he breaks out of the water tank the military had him in, also gamma is a form of radiation in real life and not something made up for marvel comics

Hulk is hands down my favorite
I think it's pretty obvious that this is a transformation scene. The capsule behind him is where he transformed and broke out of. I would say this is inspired by the TV show with Bill Bixby, specifically the episode "Married". Or perhaps the Eric Bana movie which had a similar sequence.
