Whenever the boom of animation happen in India, it should not heavily get inspired by animation hubs like america and japan, but instead should have its own identity in every shape and form. Like if india was still heavily detached from the world and its arts are being develop independently so a unique animation style/s would develop

The problem in the indian animation industry is that they are too based on cultural stories. as much as i've seen, there isn't a single indian anime with a unique and a new generation type story. if the industry wants people to watch them, they should prolly target age groups from 13-25 and they can do it by making new generation and unique stories. Great video bdw!!

Not at all based on cultural stories even those cultural ones are going to be far better than repititive shit

@@user-lehsun-le-garib i completely get you and i think i should've added the word 'most of them' because as you said not all of them are cultural based which i definitely agree. But if we talk about attracting the group age from 13-25, thn 99% of the people wouldn't like 'kings or gods' type of stories. Since you've definitely watched Deathnote, you would know what kinda animation and story actually attracts people. So the indian animation industry really needs to step up its game. Thats my take here!!

i agree with the age part tho, everyone tends to think animations all are 'cartoons'. smth thats more relatable to youngsters or smth that isnt ideal for children to watch but more of for teenagers would be better.

More facts that i would like to point out is the majority Indian animation is based on mythological characters like Mahabharata and Ramayana. The makers are still not getting above this checkpoint. Why Japanese animation have such great stories? I purely think this is because of the competitive manga culture they have in their country. The authors are forced to think out of the box to just get their manga serialized whereas in India we don't have this type of culture and makers then rely on already told stories to masses which are Mahabharata and Ramayana. The mentality of treating animation is for kids is also harming its potential. So either we need to create a comic culture in this country or we should wait for someone like Steve jobs to start an animation company on par with the level of Pixar or dream works.

The original texts are more complex and grittier then the adaptations we are getting today.the problem is they adapt it in a soap opera type way

the problem is audience dont show interest in posts, videos or indie games that are indian , also there is lack of promising content and content creators,
If you look at japanese anime all of them are based on online manga series and there are a ton of manga series/websites everywhere , so studios/game developers or even indie producers can just pick a decent one out of 100s and make anime.

We need writers who can write content like movies in Disney. I know there are people in India who can do this but nobody is going to call them. And talent goes wasted. Neither writers are paid much, instead actors charge a lot of money, but the money they earn is only because there was a GREAT STORY behind the movie, which is written by a writer. And he remains underpaid most of the times.

Actually the problem lies between Our Indian Animation and bollywood, comics.
Becuse Many Indian Comic hero' s are so cool and Their stories are amazing but In our Country There is full of nepotism no One supports the ideas And then those Ideas go to other countries and those countries make films, Comics, Animation.
And then we Ask questions why cannot India Make movies, comics like this.
Becuse everyone just wants To make their children a doctor, engineer etc etc. But no one wants them to become a director, Artists etc. That's why we see shits in Bollywood.

you do know "making their own" is a really hard thing to do even if they are making one on their own it would take absurd amount of money and they would need a big studio and stuff like that with a bunch of people who is specialized in different mediums in the industry its not impossible but one would need a huge amount of funds for it

I watched animation bit late in my life, but boy oh boy did it impact me and totally changed the way I was, to an extent that even my parents noticed it. The character development in anime is something else, you feel like you're living the life of protagonist and apply those values in your life. Animation is important part of personality development, especially in kids, teens and young adults which is sadly ignored in India.

You're right people don't agree that they will watch Anime and I insulted a person tomorrow and today he apologized to me saying "brother I think I should be open minded towards things" I made him understand that.🖤 And he was calling me a kid being 3 yrs younger than me.😂
