Du hast recht. Viele meiner österreichischen Landsleute sind irritiert oder lehnen sie leider sogar ab. Als über 50-jährige (und Kind der 80-er) war jedoch dieser Auftritt beim ESC derartig befreiend für mich, dass ich es nie vergessen werde. Ich war niemals zuvor so stolz auf unsere Entscheidungsträger, dass sie Conquita für dieses Event - trotz all der Unkenrufe - ausgesucht haben. Und natürlich auf eine Persönlichkeit und Künstlerin wie sie. Das gibt mir Hoffnung für unser verstaubtes Land.
