THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU... You are fantastically amazing for making this video. Just bought a Mitsubishi Outlander two weeks ago, my wife brushed the left side mirrow almost coming out completely. Tried to push back but, wouldn't go. Now I ca try to remove and fix. Thank you once again.

You are saving people 100s of dollars/pounds. My mirror is damaged and I have to take it apart to fix. Thank you thank you. This took a lot of time on your part, but we appreciate it!!!

This video is very under rated. What a very clear representation and instruction.

This is an example of why my Rogue/X-Trail will be the last Nissan I ever own. It never ceases to amaze me how much they go out of their way to needlessly complicate tasks that would be very simple on any other manufacturer. The mirror caps are the tip of the iceberg.
That being said, I am lucky to have found your very well thought out and mindful video. It helped tremendously- thank you!

An excellent instructional video, a lot of preparation on your part to make it easy to understand where the clips are. I am sure that at some point I will have to take the covers off on my np300 mirrors and your hard work will make it so much easier. Best Regards Sarah

Excelent video by the way. The service manual says to start from the top corner closest to the truck and move anitclockwise till you get to the two closest to the truck removing the bottom then the top (reverse for the other mirror) Just thought i would share the info

Thank you for the detailed instructions! However, in the 2019 model, perhaps because it’s LHD (?), the clips are totally different :) it seemed easier to remove, to be honest. A little jerk and a confident twist and it came off without any damage. Maybe they’ve learned from their mistakes?

      Thanks for the info!
It would defiantly be a change then because trust me there is no way anyone is taking the covers off on mine with a confident twist🤣. They must have realised that the originals were way too complicated to remove.👍

Hi John. A very very BIG THANK you for this wonderful fully detailed video. I have the same color as yours and I love chrome too, but sometimes we need to change the look of our nav too. That's why I'm I will dechrome all chromed exterior and interior parts on my nav by using plastidip, so if I want to change again to chrome I will just peel it off. Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks again and more power. Keep on uploading vids for np300.
    Cheers

Thanks for the compliments Michael. I will have to investigate this ‘plastidip’ myself. Several people have mentioned it and I have never used it.
By the way your English is superb.
