Perhaps I am biased but when I hear the question "Why do I want to do Shamanic Work?" I am reminded of the answers I received. Basically the spirits killed me after birth and then over time tested and finally acknowledged "It's not about what you want, it's what we want!" Frequently being told that you can resist and it will be painful in doing so. I'm 63 now and it's been a long and interesting path I have walked since I was a pre-teen. But I still hear my elders words, "Many are identified, fewer are tested and even fewer will actually be called" Then even those who are called may not accept or make the cut though they are still touched by the spirit realm.

Over the past 3 years I have been having experiences that I found confusing always to have information regarding these experiences follow days or weeks later that clarify for me what the experience was all about or at least give me some clues. I keep being brought back to your videos, which I’m taking as a sign… My entire life I’ve had an obsession with all things paranormal, I’d see and sense spirits, but my stepdad was a pastor, I was told it was demonic/bad, and ‘shut it off’. Typical story, right? Well. I had a cardiac arrest 10-22-2015 during hand surgery. My last memory before anesthesia was crying to a nurse that I was going to die in surgery, then I remember parts of my NDE, before going back into my body. Since then, I’ve had a full spiritual awakening/dark night, lost literally everything I’ve ever owned since birth, been completely disowned by my family and my son stolen away. Ended up abused by multiple people, homeless, with CPTSD and agoraphobia, andddd just found out I’m autistic. (That’s an extremely summed up version. My life has been INSANE. 😭) Shamanism keeps following me around, and I hear that’s common for NDErs. I’m also positive I’m Arcturian, which usually has ties to shamanism too. I recently found out my biological last name is Pappas, which is Greek for priest, and their job titles served as their last name, so I think my ancestors worked with spirit/the church. My birthday is January 27, Genesis 1:27 - God made man in his image. The problem is my life (and ME, in general) is still in shambles, I haven’t even had income since the pandemic started, don’t and have never received any government help or anything. So I’ve just been totally l.o.s.t. trying to figure this out without guidance or help. Sadly I feel like that’s getting me nowhere. I NEED to pull my life back together and save myself. But the old ways of the world can’t cut it anymore. Please help me. 🥺

We have such similar stories, sis; except it was my birth father pastor and he left us when I was 13. I woke up 6 years ago and my awakening experiences seems sooooo similar to what NDE-ers describe in terms of what they were told/shown/downloaded etc. It’s taken me all these years (and even more since before awakening) to sift through and integrate Truth and weed out lies. I feel I was totally brainwashed in the southern baptist church and I’ve done all of the “unlearning” in the physical by myself. Only Spirit has ever told me the Truth about God. Trust what you Know and keep going! I’ve been receiving a lot of messaging about stepping into Shamanism, myself. If you’d like to connect more, just let me know!

It's a pleasure to have your presence here on the channel 💜😌💜 As to your question, there can be several reasons, for example, 1) their messages are getting ignored or guidance is not followed 2) they don't receive deserved respect or gratitude - especially if they are treated just as for one's benefit or entertainment 3) they are bothered too much 4) perhaps a person they interact with need to become more grounded and present in their daily life and activities and they decide to withdraw for a while for the highest good and wellbeing - these are just some examples but hope it gives you some leads. 🪷
I was always a weird kid. I'm 60+ now, still a weird kid, lol. Harder to see now. Despite interests, I never really thought of myself as especially spiritually gifted until recently. It's subtler and frankly more annoying to people around me than if I could just say, "Hey, I'm psychic!" Any magical path is very new to me. But I seem to be tuning in to a shamanic point of view. Whether that's a start point or will be my whole 'career,' ... well, I guess I'll have to just roll with wherever I'm led. Just starting, but strongly moved by discussion of land spirits, the land itself, and so on. And those readings about the directions, the land and all that seem to have awakened something within me. This is only weeks old. Still, it rocks me. I recently came upon a hunter with a freshly killed deer. Something was wrong. There was a disturbance. I left the scene because I didn't want to alarm the hunters. Out of sight, I put my hands together to feel... "Let it go," I told the deer. She was quite distraught. "Let it go. You've done your thing here. It's time to let it go." I could sense her level of attention to me change over several repetitions of this, and her recognition of a deep message that she could use. She did finally let go. It was gratifying to me that I could help. I have been to that place since. It's interesting to be able to say that I recognize on-going disturbance within the forest, among more beings--almost as if the deer was their pet. I do what I can, but so new, I rely entirely on whatever I can intuit, to invite or pass or arrange what is around me, and be a part of restoring the sense of joy that had always consumed the place. It's coming. I feel a welcoming when I visit. I also feel a tiredness and even mild animosity, though not exactly directed at me... there's a 'you can come, but don't do that other thing now. Just don't. Just love. Care. Leave.' So that's what I do for the last couple of visits. I also have a TON to learn about 'that other thing.' On another matter, I had a time recently, an evening, when I felt quite abandoned, alone even spiritually. I looked to the sky. "There's that star again." Well, it was Saturn, I found out. I had been drawn to it several times, and determined that I should find out what star that was. I finally did it that night (cell phone app). Saturn wanted to have a talk with me, and the way to get me was to silence everything else. ... so that I would look to the sky, and beg to listen. Kinda crazy how after that, I was talking ALOUD (in the forest, no one watching, thank goodness!) and quite loudly, scolding myself for being so stuck in habits formed in who-knows-how-many past lives in a particular sign, not rising into my calling for this life or using the energy given to make my 'transit.' Even those concepts are new to me, but it became how Saturn communicated to me that I need to fully embrace the call to evolve. And I am grateful. Saturn the allegedly dark, even 'Satan,' and so lovingly though forcefully telling me to love myself better, in so many words. Phenomenal.

I had an disease take me down 15 yrs ago since I have been reading Shamanic books my disease pain has gone which I feel nervous that it will come back stronger because I have not been without pain. This may be a controversial topic but how do you deal with many shamanic and spiritual practitioners judging you from a certain lense because you are white, even though your spiritual practice is as legit as it gets?
that is such a great question, I might actually record a video on this topic as there is so much to say… it's unfortunate that biases based on ethnicity sometimes impact perceptions. For now, I'd say that the authenticity of your spiritual practice is what truly matters. Embrace your commitment to your path, and focus on the depth and sincerity of your practice - let the authenticity of your practice speak for itself.
