It's been 10 years since I first seen this video and I keep coming back to it every year. Wanting to be inspired all over again or just a simple reminder, I always find this video to be the most motivating of all.
This marathon is one of my favorite days of the year. This video is incredible and captures so well what this marathon is all about. Long live the St George Marathon!!!
St. George was my first marathon, and my last. However, not the same race. I ran it 11 years in a row. I qualified for Boston on it. I ran Boston. Their famous Heartbreak Hill is no match for Veyo. Neither is a tough as Deseret News. Running marathons is, in a way, a form of insanity. However, the goal for many is not to win outright, but score a major victory over self. Marathoners have a special connection with each other. They can convey more information between each other with a word, a look, or a gesture, than many authors can in an entire tome. That is because they have all traveled the same path, and have partaken of the same insanity. I so enjoyed this video because of the memories it stirred. Thank you so much!
This is the third time I've watched this video. Today I'm watching to keep me motivated on training (quit my run today at mile 2 of 6). Almost there...I see light at the end of the tunnel! :)
I am one of the voices in this video I know many of the runners in both the voice over and the film I haven’t lived on Southern Utah for 9 years- I now live in Texas I haven’t seen this video in about 10 years I cried when I watched it- thinking of all the great friends I made with my association with the STG marathon The STG Marathon is SPECIAL I’ve run many…but STG is different The support from all of SoUtah is phenomenal If you are a runner- DO IT
I'll be attending my first marathon ever, in st. George Utah in a little over 1 month... I am both nervous and excited. This will be a true test of determination and will.
