I’m 19, I struggle with marijuana addiction a lot and I really relate to your experience already. The guilt that Wells up in me when I watch your videos is so overwhelming. I always scroll past them when I’m stoned, knowing it’s easier to ignore the truth. I like to watch your videos when I find myself sober and bored. I can never get high after watching your videos. Until the addiction rings louder than your words. And then I forget all about reality and go back to my warm little corner of my own world. I just wanted to say thank you for talking to us. Your words speak more to me than anything I’ve ever heard. I’m not ready at the moment, but when I do give up the green goddess it’ll be in great part due to your influence. Thanks again Bill.

@hodl XRP that’s cool man. Just my humble opinion, the way I’ve religiously served her, is the more than most serve their god. Not really sure if there is a god. All I know is that if there is a god, he an evil, twisted, and maniacal bastard that gives babies cancer, wipes out whole societies with natural disasters, etc.

Also 19 and addicted to weed here and the comment you wrote sounds like I have written it.
I have been smoking since 15 and it has now (or 8 months ago) gotten to the point where I smoke daily.
I feel as my life has become this one grey pile of goo and to tolerate it I have to keep getting high.
I have lied to all the people I know so fucking much during my last 3 years of getting high. All those lies, sneaking and other bullshit are eating me up inside.
Luckily I still have my friends and my lovely girlfriend by my side, but I know they won’t be there in the future if I keep up this circle of lies and lack of effort/care. I am soon going to go without weed for atleast some time when I have the last of my bag (1g). It sure is going to be a battle to keep away from the habbit but I am ready to fight for the sake of my own life and my girl.

@@loukojaba6441 I’m glad you have to intelligence to realize what’s going on. Now that you know what has to happen, you’ll either keep deciding to lie and float through life or stop the bullshit.

Love how you spoke on the pleasure weed gives you. Something I realized recently was that yes, even though I do love the sensation of being high there was just no way in hell Id be able to continually smoke it everyday without experiencing its side effects. Paranoia, unmotivated, anxiety etc. I had to realize that it was truly double edged sword and there was no way around that other than to quit. You cant control the effect weed has on you, thats weeds job.

The pleasure was counterfeit for me. It created an illusion of pleasure while my esteem just slowly eroded. There is no pleasure in weed for me. That's over. Appreciate your comments Spiderwoman

Thank you again Bill, after 61 years on this planet, and 40 years of addiction I look forward to hope. You are light in this world.

Bill, this put the biggest smile on my face because I'm having the exact experience as you are. I'm mid 50's and have quit and listened to Ester. One day I got stoned again and thought oh man this brought everything UP to another level for me. This led to the same old habits and response from the universe. I pulled inward and everything outward turned to sheet. One morning I woke up and weed is no longer in my life. The feeling overwhelm is gone, things are happening for me again, and that vibration is back! Happy journey's my friend!

I think your words are so powerful because you walk us through the pros and bliss of chasing the green dragon, but then break down the romanticism as we all must do within ourselves, to remind us where we had gotten, and why we decided to quit in the first place.
You're a beacon of light, Bill, and I think your words will only become more and more pertinent as all this is legalized (good!) and normalized.

Thank you Bill I’m actually going through something very similar with the weed and thinking I can manage it but that’s because I’m an addict so of course I’m going to think I can manage it

Dude, the coincidences in our stories are unbelievable. I stopped in 2003, picked it up again when it was legal in March 2019, smoke my lungs out daily in tears of joy and shame with an internal voice screaming at me to stop, which I did on Nov 15, 2019, 8 months after I started. Different years, same dates. Goosebumps here bro.

When I struggle with addiction. I think of it as me avoiding something. No matter if its something that haunts me from the past. Or if it's the dark abis of uncertainty about my future. Now that you brought the idea of the law of attraction and after a bit of research on the topic I see how my personal feelings about addiction coenside with the law of attraction. As well as if your avoiding manifesting anything. When you avoid it you manifest delusion

    • @britndayz
      @britndayz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

That's totally it, my biggest coping mechanism is avoidance. I used the weed to help me deal with grief

Hey bill! 24 knew bout LOA for a bout 5 years, ill often meditate or do wim hof breathing methods before i smoke, usually when i do this i get that same profound realization! This my first time hearing someone say the same while smoking so this resonates with me greatly, its like your faced with the presence of all of our potential, like staring god in the face feeling fear, but i do try and regulate my usage these days, my rule is use weed as an enhancer not a coping/reason for being

I learned how to control my vibration the last couple years out of 12 on weed and gained back self confidence but even making the best of it I was left with an addiction to weed and porn which didn’t serve me at all, I’m ready to grow without it now and I’ve pretty much left them behind still fighting not to go back though

Im in the same situation, I thought weed made my life better, my ex left me 9 months ago and looking back I wasnt a great partner, I smoked everyday and it was my priority, I've been practising loa hut I feel no better, last week I realised weed ruined my life, off it 8 days now and hoping to see the benefits soon, I'm hoping it was a wake up call from God, hopefully one day my ex will see I've changed and give me another chance
