@jeffreyhagelin3672 I wasn't complaining in the least. It was meant to be positive. Hence me saying he has his priorities right. It wasn't meant to be taken that seriously.
You did NOT fail at Bonneville sir. As with most things in life, you have to pay your dues - and this time you made a BIG down-payment on that bill. I mean, fabricating a replacement rotary valve from an old saw blade with a rotary grinder and an angle grinder using a G-clamp and the leg of a wooden garden table as a vice - that blew me away... And to make matters even better, IT WORKED... Now go home, give your wife and children a BIG HUG and spend some quality time with them and rest up because you have a LOT of work to sort out in the next year. And speaking on behalf of at least 204k followers - WE WANT TO SEE IT ALL - and of course listen to your puzzling each of the issues out. Thanks for providing A GREAT CHANNEL to follow.
Bonneville is a process. Some things can only be tested on a run at Bonneville, and you only get 3 or 4 shots per year. Amazing to see the project come along and do pretty well the first time there! So clever to make a valve from a saw blade on the spot!

As an ex motorcycle mechanic I've never seen anyone fabricate a rotary valve from a saw blade. That's one angry bee! Congratulations on trying to get the 50cc record. And great job on the fabrication. I got my stock Honda 50 c-110 up to 55 mph when I was a kid of course the wind was at my back and I was probably going downhill. I'm 69 now but reminisce those days. This was a very interesting 90 minutes for me. 👍😬 I'm watching your videos for years. And I remember that you had A LOT of problems with rotary valves. On various engines with various executions.
