I can't believe you are installing without crush washers! You can't tell me thread locking compound is enough to keep muzzle brake on. Index with crush washer.
Yes sir. Over 2000 units sold to date. No crush washer needed. However, Kel-Tec has requested a shim to force against the back plate for the ones they are ordering for their own factory distribution. Turbo-Lock by Palm Labs makes a thread-locker that is unbeatable and we have been using it successfully for more than 3 years without issue.
My V6 came with the crush washer, and after testing threads several times, I would have almost a full turn back to level it up without washer, and only about an 1/8 of a turn with it on. So I put the washer on first ... then applied red thread locker ... then the MB ... and it seemed to set just fine. But, I have yet to fire the KSG and I don't know if a "flush fit" with the washer is a plus or negative.
So you are not using a crush washer or the same thread locker the factory used when building the shotgun? You are depending on red thread locker to hold that on that is not even hand tightened?
very unique design for a vepr 12 muzzle brake do you have a video shooting 2 or 3 different types of ammo with the new brake like bird shot, target load, slugs. double o buck?
Yes sir, we are in the process of shooting all new vids with various platforms and a wide variety of ammo. check on our site www.v6brake.com for updates.
Jed...thanks for your feedback. We have been selling them with Turbo-Fuse and or a brass washer. Either way, it has worked flawlessly for the past 8 years. The Turbo-Fuse was first tested for longevity and strength. It sets up like concrete.
Pretty much forever. We include the Palm Labs Turbo-Fuse threadlocker. Tested them all. This one sets up like concrete. and can only be removed with a torch. If you want to add an extra layer of protection, you can always add the brass spacer which can be easily filed to proper indexing.

Good suggestion. The Turbo-Lock is a very thick gel and we have found that as it threads on, the compound evenly distributes itself covering all the threads along the way. But you are correct, a little on the inside couldn't hurt. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching.
In the plumbing industry lubes, sealants, and such are only put on the male end. That way any excess is pushed out rather than to the inside of the pipe where it can cause problems.
Yes sir it fits the KS-7 but a slight modification. The Mag tube end cap on the KS-7 extends out a bit too wide. What our customers are doing is grinding just a fraction of that knurled cap off on the side that will be closest to the V6

May I add to test fit the muzzle brake on before the thread lock, ensuring fit and no galled threads.
How would you rate the V6 muzzle brake compared to the howitzer?
That’s what I’d like to know!
It would have been nice to see what the V6 looks like on the KSG, NP ill go elswhere to see if there are any images out there

Who makes that kool fire orange work station ?
What type of bench vise is that? Cool Videos.
So it’s glued on? That’s ridiculous.

Any idea when these will be available again? Seems like they're all sold out. 😕
They're available now, just ordered mine from carolinashooterssupply.com
l coulda had a V6 !!
Why would you want the gas blasting back at you?
Do you stand on top of your gun when you shoot?
It blows my mind lock tight is enough to hold that in place....the real question is....for how LONG.

It’s the stupidest thing they are saying by “pretty much forever” what kind of wonky horse sht.

Does it matter if u put upside down?
Big time. Please follow the video and instructions included with the V6.
Lol, why would you want it upside down??
Interesting.. You installed the break upside down ...? Now every time you shoot it, you get massive muzzle rise...!
Ummmm....no sir. The gun was upside down in the gun vise. Then rotated to the correct indexing position.
Ah Hell.... You're right.. Sorry, I was looking at it wrong... =(
Would it be beneficial to apply the thread-lock compound to the inside of the threads on the break as well to ensure all surfaces are covered?

That is only necessary when Running thread s into a sealed on one end chamber where air would push it out
Hi iam Fernando from Puerto Rico í like to know id this V6 muzzel brake can work in a MKA 1919 match Shogun 12ga
If you ever felt V6 blowing right back at ya, you would probably think twice installing it on a bullpup shotgun....
Will it fit the Ks7?

I would not want to use one of these if it doesnt come with a timing washer, that is just silly
You should of timed it before you did the thread lock. Then you wouldn’t have had to turn it back so much.
is their a video of them shooting it with this brake?
th-cam.com/video/4NZ_Kmmhv5A/w-d-xo.html 200yrd hit with a red dot
Yes sir. th-cam.com/video/jhFzENzdHWs/w-d-xo.html
Can this be installed on a KS-7
Yes sir. Same exact setup.
Why not shim it to clock it in???
Shims are available.
do these fit on a KS7?
Yes sir
