    very nice, not overly accessorized and “upgraded” to death with unnecessary gadgets! Mine is going eight months strong with no issues!

    I like the looks of that muzzle device much more than the howitzer. Thank you for the info

    I bought the last black one at Palmetto State yesterday for 418.00 which I thought was a great price from a reputable company. They still had green and brown ones. Looking forward to getting it. Thank you for the video

      @@GunsmithBeard I will double check. I probably missed it. I still need to take mine to the range for a test run. I did recently get a very nice flashlight attachment. I’m also going to purchase the five or six shell holder attachment. I finally fitted a sling. That is just perfect for mine. I love how it feels. I might just post a video for when I take mine to the range. Again, I’ll double check your description for the muzzle brake device. But it looks really nice. you have a very nice looking KS7, I got mine in the olive drab green.

    I love my KS7. For inside the home, a shotgun is best. Being a smaller stature shooter, this gun works great.

      I have one, it's great shotgun but it does not like the cheaper target shells that are lower in velocity.

    I cut my teeth on shotguns. I’ve also had my fair share. But I can’t think of a better home defense setup in a shotgun. Easy to maneuver, round count on par with the 590A1 and it just runs.
    I’m known for shooting slugs at distance (check out my slugs at 100 yards video on TH-cam) and with iron sights I can hit a 8x8 at 50 yards with the KS7 with little effort. In the right hands this weapon just may be the ultimate shotgun. Yeah I said it.

    I'm actually thinking about selling mine, I'm having a lot of issues. Shells keep getting stuck and won't eject. I have to take the thing apart, which I've done multiple times now and cleaned and oiled, hasn't seemed to fix anything. Any suggestions?

    • @GunsmithBeard
      @GunsmithBeard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How many shells has been fired through the shotgun? It could be the ejector spring needs to be replaced. Have you tried multiple brands of shells? It could be the forcing comb is not long enough which could be fixed also. The first thing I would check or replace is the ejector spring and maybe even the ejector if it looks worn out (the edges are smooth and rolled over)

    • @JohnnyOmnia79
      @JohnnyOmnia79 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've had it for a little over a year and only shot it a few times. I'd estimate maybe three to four boxes of shells tops, so no more than maybe 100 or so shells?

    A short "not a shotgun" is also an option without paying an NFA infringement (e.g. Mossberg shockwave)

    • @GunsmithBeard
      @GunsmithBeard  ปีที่แล้ว

      Or a REM TAC-14! It was a great option when we were allowed to put braces on the “firearm” not a shotgun! Haha

      ...can't shoulder them like the KS7. Same size...less rounds.

    Does anybody know if the muzzle brake needs to be pinned to be legal in certain states? Many of the forums I checked out says that if it is threaded on it needs to be pinned. But these are just people talking on forums. I couldn't find anything official on it. Thanks.

    • @GunsmithBeard
      @GunsmithBeard  ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually when it comes to Pin and welding that has more to do with the overall lengths of the barrel, meeting state and federal guidelines. You definitely have to check with your state laws to see what is allowed.

    • @mgpvii
      @mgpvii ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GunsmithBeard Thank you for replying. The manufacturer of the muzzle brake confirmed that the rules stating this applies to rifles and not to a legal sized shotgun.
