A2000/a4000/a4500/a5000/a6000 are all part of the same generation. Workstation version of the Rtx 3000 series. The ADA 4000 / ADA 6000 are the new Rtx 4000 series generation. A4000 is basically a 3070 with more VRAM
Soo, I was a little too harsh on the A4000. Just a little. When I watched Mining Kiing and Brandon Coin says STOP Foxing around with it, stop force closing vmmem and salad bowl it hurts your score, I've let me rigs run. The A4000 is on a 1.84 a day job. My 8gb 4060ti is on a 1.89 a day and my 3060 is on a 2.35 a day job. I had 2.8Pib of chia online on 2 farmers. I shut them down because of heat and power, but I am going to trade some of the drives and netapps for 4 3060 and 1 16gb 4060ti. I'm gonna build more salad rigs. I have messed around and mined qubic in the background with 7900x and 7950x because they have enough threads I think, but of course, it 's worse than mining with all threads. Need to hook up power meter and see how it is on power.
Now mine is on one of those. I need it to quit so I can disconnect and move out to the garage. It didn't make the office hot before because it was never doing anything. But now it's getting hot in here! 🥵
So the z440 is not for salad it is for vast or something? There's three of them near me ranging from 150 to 300 there's also a z640 near me. Don't really know anything about these workstations
xeons have more pcie lanes, when salad enables multi gpu they'll work great for that since the boards support 2x16 also, reliability, these things are built like tanks
It was really good price, I bought mine 6 A4000 for 400 euro each from a miner (still with one year waranty) for AI like one year ago. They are already paid, and still earn aprox. 0,14 eur per hour.
Hopefully the salad stays fresh whilst I finish up my plots. Only have about a week left. Been plotting drives over 6 months. Be nice to get back to mining some spec coins with the gpus. I’ve got 8 nodes with dual cpu 2699v4s running the bulk of the Spacemesh farm along with 6 7900x rigs. Pushing 100 hdd Easy to get out of hand with things. ESP if it making $$$
The xeon e5 2650 v4 I've found is supposedly not supported by windows 11... The health check windows does stated that when I tried updating since neither of my PC have gotten work on salad with crypto turned off.... Those odd ball components like the blaze it can be listed on eBay and possibly get a little cash back...if you have any info on how to get a k80 going/set up for something like vast id like to see that as I got one sitting here doing nothing and no knowledge how to use it lol..
That was a nice score! I’ve chose to get higher end equipment. So if salad wilts then I have CPU mining rigs or items that can be easily sold. Maybe throw a gaming pc together and turn profit. A lot of it I’m getting with Amazon layaway. Like the 4080 super, 4070ti super, mobos and ram. I did get a 3090 FE renewed for $800. All the GPU’s can go back to mining rigs if need be. Right now I’m holding out for prime day. However cheaper hardware can ROI a lot quicker. I believe AI computational services will grow. This is just the beginning. So I want to ready for new platforms where CPU speeds and ram MT’s may be a factor. I could wrong and wasting money.🤷
You get those sweet deals now that you are internationally recognizable, people just want to say that they were involved with the channel somehow. Just checking, I can't put an 8 GPU rig on salad? Seems like everyone does one GPU per salad system.
Bro, HMU if you have any questions. Before and after service,I spent decades in the medical technology word designing data centers around HIPAA compliance. The long and short of it, immediately remove the volume, repartition, and format it. Document it on a word doc and save the document. Don't even open the drive. Good luck.
@@TechnicalsMatt HAHA. No man, you're good. But, you are a content creator who publically stated you bought a machine from a 3rd party that was used in healthcare without documentation. By documenting your destruction steps and time stamping it, you're protecting yourself from any breaches that could be linked to the ePHI that previously resided on that machine. Think of it like clearing your weapon before going inside. It's nothing more than a safeguard. A couple lines on a Word doc with dates and, then throw it to a folder somewhere. HIPAA is a pain in the 6 but some of the largest hacks in history are based on patient privacy. Check out the United Health Care group that paid 22M in BTC to Blackcat for Ransomware. And, they still didn't get their data back.
@@TechnicalsMatt Na.. you're good. lol As long as you wrote down somewhere that you repartitioned, formated, and installed on top without looking at it. lol
Crocodile Dumbdee is that you? Or Steve Shitcoin Irwin? I got 6 A4000. 1 on salad and its a fat 0, zero, zilch, nada. Ive turned chia so dont need them for that. I thought i was sitting prettty bldg salad rigs. Nope

Appreciate it man. I'll completely forget everything you said in about 12 minutes
RDIMM DDR4 is server/workstation memory. you can get loads for cheap. RDIMM does not work on consumer chips, only xeons, epycs

Nice haul!
I love cheap ol workstations. Just have to be mindful of those proprietary PSUs and how much their breakout boards allow
Those z440's have 750w with 2 6pins coming off. I can't imagine for the life of me it'll be an issue unless i try putting some hungry boi in there
Love Salad Safari!! Had me cracking up. Nice grab with the A4000.
The finger bit got me 😂😂
Some people get rewarded for their hard work. It must have took a little bit of time to find the parts.
I fell ass-backwards into this one LOL
RDIMMs are Registered Dimms which means ECC buffered modules for systems like Xeons or Epycs
Excellent purchase, keep sniping!
My A4000 makes $1.88 per day.
It seems to be one of those perpetual jobs that Brandon has mentioned.
Now mine is on one of those. I need it to quit so I can disconnect and move out to the garage. It didn't make the office hot before because it was never doing anything. But now it's getting hot in here! 🥵
Those CPUs can mine Xelis pretty soon with the new fork. But the epycs are still gonna dominate
Dang that is awesome snagging up on the A4000 with the buy 👌

What platform are they on?
@@TechnicalsMatt I have everything on Runpod. I switched to AI almost immediately after end of ETH minning.
New mining stand label. "Live. Laugh. Loveddr4."
I have the same Z4 workstations. Do remember it needs Server Ram. I just figured this out LOL it has to be ECC ram Non ECC will NOT WORK!
LOL happened to me too. I was like, "why tf is this thing beeping at me and not posting"
@@TechnicalsMatt It's you not the RAM. lol
You lucky dab. Yes the A4000 is one to just flog immediately and buy 1 x 3090 and just get 4 bucks a day like brandon does.
YAY good old fassion strong arming the health care system!!
Lucky! that was in my Napoleon Dynamite voice btw

you bastard !, I'll give you $100 for that a4000? :P
How the Hell do you score a A4000 for $100!!! IT department definitely messed up letting that Z4 out the door!

Yea I think the 420BLAZEITFGT GPU is a paperweight. Maybe i'll make body armor out of old GPU's
You can make a xml file to put on a windows iso and make it ignore the win 11 hardware checks. Gewgle has the answer I am sure.
OMG this is the find of the year you lucky duck!
It’s a workstation not a server you silly! :)
Awesome find, selling that card will pay for those pc's.

I believe the R in RDDR4 means registered ram (matched pairs, good silicon) cuz server. And OMG! "FB Marketplace Safari", fookin hilarious!!
More Marketplace Safari!!!

only supports 1
Why does that gpu look like fire shot out of the side of it at some point? Hopefully just dark dust 😂
