Yeah I remember this vividly, I was 13 and watched it with my grandpa. I grew up in Boston and we lived 6 miles from Fenway Park. Greatest era of baseball in my opinion was the so called “steroid era”. I was a HUGE, DIEHARD baseball and Red Sox fan to the point, that when I was deployed to Turkey (although that wasn’t a “real deployment” I went to those after Turkey) I went and got the Sox “B” tattoo on my forearm not only to show my love for the Sox but also in memory of my grandpa and my love and pride in being a Bostonian!! However because of what baseball has willingly become I’m having it removed. Baseball cares more about their liberal/communist agenda then they do about baseball, and the fact that my once beloved Red Sox decided to sell a small piece of it to someone who‘s OPENLY RACIST but, apparently because he’s racist towards white people that makes it OK!! Well as someone who is a fully disabled combat veteran I will NEVER support people who disrespect our country, our flag, or our anthem!! Anyways I still have these memories

He also went as far as to channel his inner Juicy Smollett by FAKING A HATE CRIME!! I could go on and on but if you truly don’t understand than you never will. Padres were actually a good team on many fronts. Team ERA. Closer ERA. 3rd for fewest errors. 3 players with 25+ dingers, etc.
