      I think it actually meant V1 lost GC after a long streak of wins so not again means no loss again (V1 female roster is now SR, meL, sarah_frags, florescent etc)

    are transgenders allowed on GC?

    • @bluishpotato
      @bluishpotato ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yep! it’s an event for “marginalized genders” so that includes trans women and non-binary people. i’m guessing trans men would also included in that.

    • @user-ex7yq6xq9s
      @user-ex7yq6xq9s ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bluishpotato damn, that's interesting!
      Im curious tho, how do they know players are among those genders and not some cracked straight guy?

    • @user-ex7yq6xq9s
      @user-ex7yq6xq9s ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@bluishpotato i will answer my own question here,
      I think it doesn't matter i guess,
      for me i think esport is not that physically demanding compared to sports

    • @bluishpotato
      @bluishpotato ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@user-ex7yq6xq9s i think it’s mostly just trusting that a player is telling the truth. but also, for example, if there was a man who wanted the chance to play in a VCT so he lied about being non-binary to get into game changers, he would have to keep up the lie for the months leading up to and following the event and would have to lie to his teammates and coach about being non-binary (because the teams and orgs do genuinely want the chance to have marginalized genders on them and it would be bad publicity if people found out they tried to sneak a man onto the team). also a lot of the players are also streamers and it would look bad on the guy and possibly hurt his streaming career because he’d be taking away an opportunity from someone who the event was meant for. so i think most people know it would be a bad idea to lie to get in

    • @user-ex7yq6xq9s
      @user-ex7yq6xq9s ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bluishpotato yeah but I find this GC thing really confusing, why not allow these genders play with regular esports? Im not trying to offend someone, im genuinely asking.

    The scene that solidified that female gamers arent as good as male gamers. The finals a month ago between EG vs V1 pitted the two best players in this league against one another, 2 trans women, keenc and florescent, and they were head and shoulders, far and away the best players in the server. Crazy that people still pretend women just arent "given the same opportunities" as men when trans people are like 0.01 percent of the population and they still dominate a "womans league" with the best female players in the world in it. Its actually crazy.

    • @bobuxx1842
      @bobuxx1842 ปีที่แล้ว

      The difference is probably caused by the fact that boys usually start playing at young age and woman somewhere around 13+

    • @Precipiceofwind
      @Precipiceofwind ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah you're so right, it's totally not the fact that on average in t2+ scenes men have almost triple the hours and an insanely larger talent pool! Let's be weird online!!!

    • @mikerobertson8540
      @mikerobertson8540 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@Precipiceofwind Women make up 40% of the player base, and the undisputed best womens teams that smashed all the other women's teams and who's goal was to be the best valorant team in the world, c9 white then later v1, got their shit handed to them by no name male players over and over again that will never sniff the tier 2 scene, let alone tier 1. But sure, if you wanna say that men are more competitive and take it more seriously, I'll concede that to you. That also plays in to WHY FEMALE GAMERS ARENT AS GOOD. Are you getting it now? "Ronaldo is the best soccer player in the world because he trains more and harder than other players, but let's be weird online!!" LOL.

    • @jadeanderson7451
      @jadeanderson7451 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Do you honestly think men have an inherent advantage in esports? If they do have an advantage it’s bc men are more accepted in the gaming community and therefore taken more seriously and driven more than women. It’s not because men are just naturally better

    • @mikerobertson8540
      @mikerobertson8540 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@jadeanderson7451 Trans women are even less accepted than regular women, yet they dominate in GC, so that's a poor argument. Yes, I do think men have an inherent advantage in a game that relies heavily on fast reflexes. That's really not an outlandish thing to say at all.
