Speaking of hunting with a tripod, I started using my tripod for hunting last year and am never going back. I took a deer at the edge of my property (roughly 300yds) while it was at a full sprint. Honestly, the best shot I've taken in my life. I didn't even have a 'tactical' or 'hunting' tripod, just the one I use for filming with a bag on it and it worked great.
