Bro I don't think you will able to do that because shred command is used to securely delete files by overwriting their contents with random encrypt data.

Hello brother, just one question, I am running my ec2 instances on Mac, how do I do it on putty? Is there any other alternative for that?
You can generate a pem ki and use ssh directly like ssh -i your-pem-key username@ec2-ip

@@JEEJY30 Yup got it, instead of this command, we can use an opensource tool -> "OpenSSL" to encrypt,decrypt or hash the file....👍🏻👍🏻
