I disagree, I think Kassandra's voice actress was amazing and more believable, but Alexios? God I just got taken out of it so often..Now in certain moments he was super believable but in a lot of the others I just.. did not like it.
Its my favorite game of all time! And it has stiff competition in the Fable and Saints Row franchises. But Odyssey is just so stunning visually, the gameplay is seamless and enjoyable, and the voice acting is PERFECT. I tried Valhalla, but just didnt enjoy it as much, and went right back to Odyssey! Exploring the ancient Greek world is just addicting!
@@SF-li9kh Kassandra is also gonna be in the Oculus Quest VR game as a playable character, next to Ezio and Connor 😊 (I don't know why Connor, he was a bit boring - his mother would've been a more interesting protagonist in AC3 imho)

Took the game off a few times when i heard of the new update the korfu Island. I reinstalled it & got to level 99 & mastery level 26... Also got the platinum trophy...
I played 60 hours of Odyssey when it came out and took a break (the gameplay's too bloated and grindy) but came back recently and got the platinum, I'm on the final DLC episode. I gotta say UbiSoft really put in a lot of love and effort into the game, so much detail, so many voices lines and the voice actors are so good. Melissanthi Mahut in particular was phenomenal as Kassandra, definitely one of my most favourite video game character ever.

I’ve only ever played ACBF (which I loved). ACO has been out for about 2 years, and I just bought it for an insanely good price on Black Friday. Needless to say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME!! I am so glad I got it. I seriously can’t stop playing. I’ve always been a complete history nerd, and this completely indulges my itch for Ancient Greek history.
I still love this game.... I have completed it with Alexios and 2x with Kasandra.. I did all 3 DLC,s and now I started to do all 3 DLC,s again, I,m now on episode 2 of the 3rd DLC, and when I have finished It again I will be getting Mirage, as I've already done Valhalla... Odyssey Is my favourite out of Origins and Valhalla, I,ll never get bored of It Kasandra Is so cool as a character
I can’t get enough of this game. Kassandra is my favourite character. The romance options and lines were funny , fun and so entertaining. Best AC I played so far. Unfortunately I felt the First blade DLC was forced and limited. Taking away the power of RPG choices and build of the player and just forcing the outcome. Did not like that at all. They should release more games with Kassandra and continue to increase the RPG ELEMENTS , romance options, choices, gear, dialogues and make that into consequences for different character build, resulting in different outcomes . Kassandra is AMAZING .
kassandra was the better imo she looked good and the vocie acting was also good alexios kinda looked weird in game his facial animations were kinda janky
Yeah exactly, I had one friend that played as Kassandra and another that played Alexios and noticed his cutscenes felt less immersive, he has a very basic character appearance
Excellent voice acting but sad that this game has no dismemberment, decapitation and gore for such a violent game. All these badass weapons but the bad guys just fall over lol. :(
Origins voice acting felt like a caricatured Caribbean accent rather than Egpytian. Sort of like the meme "De way" I couldn't take anything that Bayek and Aya said seriously.

@@TheRailwaystationist they literally put together ready made animations for most of the cutscenes with splicing that's why the animations are so low quality and repetitive with wierd unnecessary movements.
@@derangedcrouton1864 From what I've heard, they did spend quite a lot of time on mo-cap. I do agree with you, though. A lot of the animations are recycled way too many times, and a lot of it seems out of place, especially in the DLC's.
@@TheRailwaystationist if they did I'm not seeing it. I went through the game constantly repeating the words "please be a mocap scene please be a mocap scene" and it rarely ever was. The beginning of the game was awesome with leonidas and every scene of the beginning battle was mocapped and there was a story bieng told without you having to make pointless choices that's how the game should have been. And they really stepped back like 10 years with the parkour and the cutscenes where they'd fade to black or cut and then youre back in the game unity from 2014 fucking 2014 had dynamic cutscenes where the camera would follow arno and then you'd smoothly transition into gameplay Ubisoft Quebec is a studio I never ever want to see make an ac game ever again
I think you’re just one of those people that hate a game if it’s not perfect. I agree in some ways that this isn’t really a assassins creed game, but. I think this game is great and here’s why. Regarding the animation tell me a game that has thousands of cut scenes and cinematic moments that doesn’t re use no cap. Aco is not a assassins creed game it has little to nothing to do with the brotherhood and the order but this game is its own thing. Am I biased? Yes but what’s the point in spending 110-35 dollars (depending where and what version of the game) just to hate it. Enjoy what they did good instead of hating what they did mediocre.
They used greek voice actors so they could have an accent. Most greeks (myself included) talk with the accent you heard in the game. Personally it made it feel more like greece for me!
Worst voice acting no offense, after Origins that was a pure masterpiece- AC Odyssey make my ears bleed and brain cringe because of the dialogues, and it's a pity giving the beautiful graphics gameplay and historical setting 😢

My first Assassins Creed game. I was never a fan of this series but the anicent greek setting got me interested. Been an AC fan since.
I can just dream that Ubisoft will make a more longer version of Assassin's creed Odyssey and continuing the Storyline of Alexios and Kassandra 😍😍😍

About 100 hours into the game I finally beat it today. I'm sad now
There are 2 dlc for 2 more stories that add a total of 200 more hrs
i feel that.. when I beat it i felt so empty. It's one of those games you wish you could play for the first time again
Odyssey is a masterpiece, I love that game. The actors all did a wonderful job.
