that would be an approach to the real face of ezio auditore, the animus 2.0 couldnt recreate the real face of ezio and instead it used desmond's face thats why ezio looks like desmond, but actually ezio was more white than him and had lighter hair

I don't know exactly what programs they used, but you could achieve the same effects with a good 3D modeling program like 3Ds Max, a normal editing program like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere, and a more advanced program like Apple Motion or Adobe After Effects. Certainly a ton of motion tracking went into this, and the color correction was awesome, and all the transitions.
They did such great job with this movie this is really amazing no matter what year it is I will always watch it I will recommend this movie to everyone because it is great movie. I played the game first and then I find this movie. I wish that someone would make movie based on Assassin's creed game when Ezio became an assassin with Devon Bostick as main character even if he doesn't look like him it's of course gonna be not easy but it be worth it if they try very hard.

Crazy all the characters have like the same face as the characters in the game, except for Ezio. The face of Desmond is the same as the face of the guy who voices Desmond. Same as Starkiller from Star Wars TFU.
@234DevilDog The people in the lineage movie were the same people they got inspiration to make the characters look like in the game, all they did was take the person (like the actor for rodrigo borgia in the movie) and give him game like features and put him in the game.
@234DevilDog I think they modeled Giovanni and Rodrigo Borgia in the game after the actual characters in Lineage if I'm not mistaken. They just look too much alike to say they didn't lol
People if you think about buying the Assassins Creed series... well then do it. it is sooo deep in story, because it isn't just about killing bad guys, it has a major plot twist wich you absolutly did not see coming except if youre reallly smart

When I first saw Lineage I honestly thought that everything was pure CGI and was amazed by how the characters looked so real. Now I feel stupid LOL.
