Why are people on his case about not knowing who Dalreen is? He can't be expected to know about every single musician out there. What answer was he supposed to give other than he doesnt know who she is. Plus he apologised for not knowing.

Danu tries to portray Harith as a gay but actually the point Harith tried to point was that just because he has some female mannerisms he is straight , he emphasized that sexual orientation and mannerisms are different , ( Danu likes to wish abs believe Haritha is gay) though Harith is not.

Lol. Most of the contestants of those reality shows appear to have been known to either coaches or their relatives prior to the competition, and they attempt to decipher them as newly and impartially selected talent from the general public. They must either be upfront about these at the beginning or limit those who have a conflict of interest. Sri Lanka is a wonderful country where everything happens behind the scenes inside a circle and is presented to the public as unbiased and fair. That's why Sri Lanka's music or anything doesn't have a future. Simply we do not have a system, but what we only try to do is prepare those we know as an output of a system. But, someone else with the same talents would not be able to get through it because she or he does not have those contacts.
Sad truth
I agree with you 100%. Also, almost all of the reality shows which happen all over the world are actually scripted. We can either avoid watching any of it, or watch it solely for entertainment purposes without being sensitive on what is actually happenning. It will take a while for people to develop a third eye, to see beyond what is shown in the screen.
Oh my goodness. Harith was my favourite in the Voice and one of the many who wished he'd win. But dude..seriously..about Dalreen Subi, didn't you have a better answer than 'i might not know these names because i am not in to social media'.Not seen a better example of digging your own grave in recent times..😅. This new generation..Dalreen Subi is not an instagram model child..She is a veteran musician in sri lanka. Like Umara said a 'music legend' .. You are in the music industry now Harith.People voted for you to be Voice Sri Lanka. So do your home work on sri lankas music industry. Know the legends of Music in sri lanka at least becsuse you are already in it! Or if you don't know ask the host politely without giving snotty looking answers like ' I am not in social media and i might not know some of these names' .Dont literally dig your own grave brother.

Either, he should have listed her with similar names such as Mariazelle, Judi, and so on.
He says "feel bad now" after putting her name in front of a completely different group of people.
People who don't know people he admires should "feel bad."
In previous episodes, there were invitees who didn't even know well-known cricketers and actors, but when they said don't know them, he just glanced over them as if it is not big a problem that they have to be "feel bad". 🤣🤣He simply exists in a self-created dreamworld. There are few people known to him. They are the ones are invited. You should "feel bad" for not knowing the people he knows, but not when they don't know other well known public figures.
Yeah I thought that was rude too. Even I don't know that name. But he would have recognized if showed a picture. Agree with living in a world has created of their own because don't most of the people coming to this programme have no idea who they are. Maybe because this is high fashion/luxury magazine 😉
@@MsMBGZ Yes, Dalreen is a living legend and a great woman. That I agree. So, it was a really a horrible mistake. He had to have known who she was.
But I think he didn't realise who he was talking about because he had put her with some different realm of people and because he's not into pop music a lot. He might have thought Dalreen was a new generation social media based girl or something. Perhaps he should have shown him a picture or given him a hint (may be a part of her song). Maybe he was trying to persuade him that he made a huge mistake, but he handled it horribly!
