    O2 Minipops - clock master/drums through filter
clock goes to buffered multiples in order to sync the following:
Hougaku Mini Conductor with step sequencer
Sony Beat Box with trigger sequencer + footswitch for adding fills
Casio PT-80 with step sequencer (playing chord buttons); running through Zoom B1on multi-FX (creating woosey brass sounds)
The second part features the above, plus:
Victor KB-65 (aka JVC KB-600) - a semi analog home keyboard from the 1980s with primitive MIDI implementation.
Auto accompaniment section sync'ed to above clock system via MIDI

Every time I see your videos I appreciate how your sense of style permeates the design of the instruments, videography and music. Everything seems to cohere nicely. In this one I really enjoyed those bubbly little percussive sounds during the multitasking section.

thanks Patrick! basically, i can either play the devices or film them, i'm not competent at doing both - hence the tongue in cheek title 'multitasking'. putting together systems that are largely self playing has become a recent preoccupation of mine.

thanks Ludwig! I've often admired your approach to musical progressions so it cheers me to know this is up your street. generally, with these pieces, i'm just making random patches to trigger notes and chords to see what comes out. if i'm lucky there's usually one or two slightly off/borderline notes that just push it beyond 'normal' and that's when it feels good to me!

@@wildchurch a good progression is when it sounds good but you didn't see it coming. Thanks for the high praise btw. 👍
