Steven Stevens is legendary with the guitar. He is literally playing both lead and bass(rhythm) parts at the same time. I didn't think the song would sound good with the acoustic, but only Mr. Stevens can make that happen. Absolutely mental.

There’s a lot going on in that guitar work. Carrying a melody while inserting a lead is serious skill. Awesome song. Billy sounds good as always.

Billy is back!!! Steve Stevens guitar skills are unbelievable!! He still looks and sound amazing!!! He's still got the voice, the energy and the stage presence!! Damn I love this guy!! Steve Stevens is the absolute best, soooo underrated!! I just can't get over how good he sounds!! His voice is not damaged whatsoever, Billy has all of it and more!!!
In 4 years Billy will be 70!! and he can do this now!!?? Same with Steve Stevens, he's 63 and I can see him and Billy still rocking out well into their 70's and BEYOND!!!
It's all the time he took off from being in the public eye and from performing that I think saved his voice. He still got it that's for sure and looks amazing.
I think it would be the opposite, if he would've stop singing for years he would lost the practice, instead, he did a lot of concerts in between and agree, still has that unique sound in his voice
An interview i read had him spend a lot of time on treating substance abuse addiction. And that prolly needed to occur out of the public eye so he can not have to mend under a spot light.

From what his best female friend and lover described, Billy Idol was originally an intellectual named William.. saw a pic of him back in the 70s; wore wire rimmed glasses, dressed conservatively, of course very handsome. More bookish than anything. He created his persona, and got very wrapped up in it, and went all in with the crazy rock star sex and drugs lifestyle, having a ball with it. She was into the scene with him, but for her the novelty wore off sooner, and she went a different direction, but always had the best regard for him, a true friend

As a 53 yr grandma, I tell grandaughters to look at Billy in original videos, we were girls that loved the Pretty but naughty Billy Idol. Then I make them watch me rock out with his later concerts. My poor kids and grandaughters just listen to that same ole hip hop/ rap beat until I am BLUE IN THE FUCKING FACE
It blows my mind how he keeps that E string going on so tight while he arpeggiates with the other fingers! Magical! plus all those creative voicings and so much feel and rock pocket. Guitar God!

as someone who can't play guitar I can't believe this is one guy playing, it sounds like 2 or 3 people playing guitar to me. Billy sounds like he could be at a recording studio in the 80s.

My first job , l bought a beautiful stereo system , and l bought 2 albums to break it in with. One was Billy Idol 's White Wedding album and the other was Yes '' album with Owner Of A Lonely Heart. I am now a 59yrs. young born again Christian and last week l listened to all of Billy's stuff and I just still love him. He still has it. His voice is still great , still has the young at heart attitude , and one day l hope he and l can sing on stage in heaven for our Lord and Savior. It will be a blast . A supernatural blast !!

Beyond amazing, the guitar, unlike many current artists, no need for vocal manipulation, he sounds live the exact same way he sings on albums, not to mention that those albums came out decades ago. Brilliant, cheers.

I was lucky to go and see him in concert in Paris end of 1990, it was after his accident and he was still using a fancy black straight cane. After the first act, we waited a bit as you do , then the lights and the atmospheric music started to do their thing for a while, indicating the concert was about to begin, but no signs of BI. There was this huge prop above the scene, a closed first, knuckles facing the crowd. Eventually, the hand started to turn upwards and slowly flipped the middle finger. The crowd went wild. Then Billy came along and what a memory of a fantastic concert!
