Today's video is more of a personal story from my own journey as a Foundry Professional having been in the Industry for 9 years now.
I can tell you first hand that the reason even the Foundry Podcast is successful today is mainly because I focused on this one thing.
The secret, is not such a big secret, but mainly something that we are all aware of but rarely practice diligently.

So What is WESCON?
WESCON is the flagship Annual Conference of the Western Region which is organized by IIF Western Region, this time jointly by Pune and Indore Chapters.
The Indian Foundry Industry is gearing up for a bright future, as is WESCON 2024! and is conducted under the theme Global Outreach".
The Two day conference is being arranged on 17th and 18th December 2024 at Hotel Orchid, Pune , with a scheduled work visit on t he 16th of December.
For the first time, there is also a gathering for CEO's and Foundry Owners happening a day prior called Leadcon, scheduled for the 16th Night which will be by invite only.
It will provide a 360-degree perspective on a wide range of subjects for Foundrymen and probably the best time in the whole year to meet the entire Western Region in ONE Room.

About The Institute of Indian Foundrymen :
The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) was set up in 1950 to promote education, research, training and development to Indian foundrymen and to serve as a nodal point of reference between the customers and suppliers of the Indian foundry industry on a global scale.
With its Head Quarter in Kolkata, IIF presently services the entire country through its 23 Chapters under four Regional Offices located at Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai.
The Institute is a member of the World Foundrymen Organisation (WFO) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

To recognize meritorious activity by individuals and body corporates in the field of foundry technology, through the Awards Programme.
To conduct technical meetings, seminars and workshops through Regional branches and Chapters.
