IFEX 2025: 21st International Exhibition on Foundry Technology, Equipment, Supplies and Services concurrent with 73rd Indian Foundry Congress will be an excellent platform for the Indian as well as overseas companies to showcase their state-of-the-art technologies and services being offered to this vibrant industry to get exposed to new business opportunities.
Cast India Expo 2025: The only trade fair in India, which is rapidly becoming one of the important casting sourcing destinations in Asia - Cast India Expo will be organized concurrent to IFEX 2025 and 73rd Indian Foundry Congress. This is an excellent platform for the foundries from all across India to display their capacities and capabilities to the buyers coming from across the globe.

@Foundry_Podcast how can u called that a foundry. One export restriction from Germany could crumble his so-called 3D printing centre. In this uncertain geopolitical world anything can happen we can't be dependent on other for critical tech. Sorry he's just a end user not a foundry.
@@driftking5503 Actually they’ve bought the machine outright, did a lot of R&D and then made huge significant improvements to the process to make it work in India with the sand available and USP / market demand etc. They also help out other foundries by supplying them the moulds allowing everyone to use the technology for a fraction of the cost. It’s great initiative if you ask me!
@@Foundry_Podcast why didn't they form a joint venture with german OEM of 3D printing and make the machine for themselves. My uncle owns a semiconductor company now it's run out of business because us put sanction on them for selling microchip to russia millitary. They can't buy new equipment or repair it.

@@rdilipan There are, but depends on what material is needed to be printed. PeeKay is mainly referring to Sand printing here in the video, the other printers have been printing polymers. What is the use case?

Nice to see this video on youtube. Hope indian foundry industry improves in quality, cost and competitiveness. The erp software will be good for automation of basic operations but if the technical design and quality control can also be automated, it would give more cost competitiveness to the industry
@@kussh100 Nice touch ! There are actually some very good ERPs in the industry, but majority of foundries struggle with the implementation. What is needed is a very low basic easy to adopt approach and scaling up from there, based on personal experience 🙂
It’s really amazing for foundries to change the behaviour of Indian Foundry work force to complete with International Standards by creating a safer workplace, improve efficiency of work force and generating a data for quality improvement. Do you have an episode on Electrical preheat of tundish and ladles? Could be interesting to learn if some already has implemented electrical preheating to reduce CO2 and make the working environment less humid due to the water produced in the gas burners.
