Yesterday I went to temple, that time (only) I met my friend. While I was writing my HW, my dad called me. (That time is not necessary when we use while) This deepawali he will come back home from hostel. If you have money you can go on a tour (tour is not a place so 'to' use seiyakudadhu sir)
