- This 1994 CR250 is finally complete! Today, I took my new bike out to Seven Mile ORV in Spokane Washington to get some reps and break in the engine after short heat cycles. This build took about 8 months, just about everything is brand new on it. If its not brand new, its been replaced with used OEM parts in 9/10 shape. Heres the build at a glance:
-Prismatic Powders Polar White applied by Brian Alves of Dark Matter Coatings in Spokane, WA
-Suspension valved and sprung by Chaun McAlister at Big 4 MotorSports (RG3 Idaho) in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Suspension built on 2008 Honda CRF450 Forks and 1994 OEM shock
-Complete engine rebuild with Honda OEM bearings
-OEM Crank rebuilt by Ken O'Connor Racing with Wosner connecting rod
Pro X CR250 stock size in brand new 2001 CR250 cylinder, 1994 OEM head.
-Every bearing is new inside the engine, in the suspension and wheels
-Acerbis Plastics, Throttle Jockey graphics
-Michelin Starcross 5 mediums front and rear on Excel Takasago rims
VMX Tank
-Galfer stainless steel braided lines front and rear
Engine break-in using Dumonde Tech Break-in Oil
-Post engine break in, Yamalube mixed 40-1
-Renthal handlebars
-Motostuff 280mm oversized front brake rotor
-Primary Drive Chain and Sprockets from RMATV
This build was 900% better than my 2001 CR250 from Broke to Built 2022 and it rides so much better. I am a believer, steel frame CR250s from 1992-1996 are the best version Honda ever made!
I had a blast building this bike and look forward to taking it to the track! Thanks for watching my videos, I apprecaite you all! Enjoy!
