N690, vg10, 154cm is all good stuff to me. Wouldn't complain about any of it. The big begleiter has a slightly shorter grip area than the domin, esp with that little protrusion at the end. Not sure how well that's going to do in a mini form with my wide hands, but I'm going to wait for both before deciding if/which one I want anyways. Yea, as far as competition, sub 3" and stainless... not as much around that price atm as you would think.
Very simple looking knife as love the size....Good stuff....
In this flooded market of nice inexpensive knives this checks all the right boxes. Behind the edge great, nice blade size, great weight.Plain and boxy but nice ergo. Thx for vid

I just picked one up for free from Blade HQ with my Kizer purchase and I was so impressed with the mini domin that I want a full size now. N690 is nooooooot badddd in my opinion and the smoothness buttery goodness (technical knife term, sorry) and I can’t stop fidgeting with it and cutting open everything that has a tear line opening! I get four finger purchase and I almost can use my pinkie while closing that super easy liner tab. Don’t tell anyone but I got it in purple because it looked pink rock pink and it IS! It’s hot purple/pink with the lines from handle to tip that are reminiscent of a classic Porsche. Small, packed with power, and able to do almost anything that it was made for. Grippy G10, super gorgeous finish on the blade and equally smooth to my titanium mini sheepdog. Kizer is taking my money away from Civivi and I still have to get a couple Ishams , jeez guys. Kizer has my eyes on the Uli and any Laconico - looking at you Gemini!
I like N690 out of the three, Kizer is my favorite Chinese company. I love all of the vanguard series, I like the Beglieter a little more.
Got the mini Domin just a few weeks ago. I have had the full sized Begleiter for some time now. I find N690 and VG10 to be pretty similar. I have seen chart comparisons before and while not identical, they are almost as close as M390 is to CTS-204P. As I recall, on Cedric and Ada Outdoors, Pete got very similar performance from N690 and VG10. I would expect that the Mini Domin will see more time in my pocket over the next year, but that is more of a function of quirky knife laws where I live. I prefer the Begleiter, but if I cross the wrong city boundary with the Begleiter in my pocket, bam - weapons charge.

Kizer vanguard series is one of my favs I don’t have the begleiter or domin but I have almost everything thing else, but a little to plain for me.
Good review...I do think I agree...there are many in competition in this price range.

Ha. We don't coordinate. Actually had this video in the can for awhile. I think we both started scheduling 8PM EST awhile ago.
Have the full-size in cool blue...it's not a big knife...at least it carries small....and at the price I got it for...the VG10 is fine with me...simple is good...it's a keeper.

I’ve been carrying my first Kizer the begleiter for about a month now. I really like the feel of it. Looking at the mini begleiter. I might pass on the domin because they are so similar. Then again I love having pairs to carry so might get them at some point

Is N690 a bonafide upgrade from VG-10, in your opinion? Seems like a lateral change to me, but what do I know?
Does anyone know what size washer the mini domin uses? I recently lost a washer whiten I took it apart to clean it
