This was such a fun concert to play. I am actually in the second violin section and I remember how epic and incredible it felt to play this piece of music by one of my favorite film composers! Good times! 🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻 Thank you for uploading this!
That's really nice of you to watch and comment! My daughter and son-in-law were also in that concert. They both play cello. They are now Orchestra teachers in the El Paso Independent School district, Nathan is at burgess, and Jewell is at Andress. I'm pleased with the way this video came out. It was a two camera setup and I spent a long time editing it.
I subscribed to your channel. It's good to see that you're still pursuing your passion for violin. Are you aware that if you set your TH-cam videos as made for kids, that no one can comment on them? You might want to consider taking off the made for kids setting, but making all comments require approval before they're posted.
one of awesome collaboration youth musicians in concert.... my salutes, applause and two thumbs up to all of you... I barely don’t remember how many thousand watching this video…
John Williams is pretty much like a modern day musical composer extraordinaire par excellence! Right up there with the musical greats! You just hear a few notes, and you KNOW it's a John Williams composition, and your mind swirls with the images of the film. Amazing! Thanks @Infinite Quantum for sharing this one! You rock!
Thanks! This is one of my favorites. BTW, after I buy another camera ( dropped on my trusty Sony) I'll have two again and hope to post some symphony vids) Thanks for watching!
I wish this was on iTunes or something. Can't get enough of it! Such a great performance. Sure, there are subtle imperfections, but I am not nitpicking, but enjoying this creative masterpiece.
johnny me Still my favorite! I hope TH-cam does not take it down. They have arbitrarily taken down my other most popular video, because some middle eastern TV conglomerate stole the video, aired it and filed a copyright claim against me, even tough it was 100% my original work.
This is actually so hard to play on a trumpet, I can't even express my respect for those 3 guys to have this leve if intonation and condition. It's really hard!
I feel ya bro. I play trumpet and even though this is my 6th month I Am dedicated to learn this, no matter how long it takes. It is easily the hardest song I've ever tried but I can kinda play it.
Amazing! I was enchanted by so much talent, music that gets inside you, fills you and leaves an indelible imprint ... delighted and honored to have been able to hear a composition so sublime and wonderful, I offer you my congratulations, really great!
Very beautiful orchestration of my favorite Movie of all time! They were so on point and amazing with that soundtrack!!! Amazing job to all involved!!!
Excellent playing by this young student orchestra from the University of Texas. Just goes to show the amount of great talent that we have here in the USA
I'm learning this in my strings class and I'm glad I could hear what it should sound like (sorta without band where I am) before my concert the 20th lol, and it sounded beautiful like oh my god, wonderful!
Demais!!!! Obrigado por isto, significa muito para mim, esta é a banda sonora do meu filme favorito que me marcou desde a minha infância, nunca vou esquecer desse filme.
Looks beautiful, love the cello's. Is it just me or are the cello's in the wrong place? (aren't they supposed to be in front of the bass's) edit: I never played in a full orchestra, just strings, and everything but stings separately, Tuba and Bass)
Justin Rush There are two common layouts for the strings. One is the layout you described, lower base to the audience right. In this concert, and older layout more common in the 1700s was used. It has advantages and disadvantages over the more modern layout.
Ive always loved this theme. Especially 1:40 now thanx to the internet everytime I hear it I automatically go, Luke Im your father, It is useless to resist...
The fact that John Williams wrote this score in the span of a single month is a testament to his musical genius.
I thought it would've taken longer
