- Hello Artists & Creatives
I am not sponsored or endorsed by gicleetoday.com
This is an authentic review of their sample stock package.
I pick my favorite for watercolor prints, acrylic prints, and a winner for both mediums.
My aim is to help artisans & patrons find quality prints. The more you know, the better! I hope this helps anyone find what they may be looking for.

@@missmegansstudio3616 Best video yet! I will be sending off for my first order next week thanks to you. Now I can sell my prints with confidence! I worried about selling my prints and them fading, and I knew I needed archival paper but where to start? Your video was fantastic and clear to see. Thank you- take care of yourself.
Thanks for doing this! Saves me ordering the sample kit! :)

Boyds of Paradise Great! Glad to hear it
do you by chance know what their bagged prints are like? do they have a backer board or something with it?
ahhh THANK YOU for this!! Been trying to find a place to print my art
You're a saint! Thanks for sharing!
Oh thanks! Glad you found this helpful :)
No thank you! Appreciate the time and stuff. Blessings.
Super helpful. I'd also like to know if you order prints from them and how they turn out.
I have not ordered from them yet, but I will let you know when I do!
Great review. I do have a question though. Which paper do you think would be best for oils?
None. From my experience your best bet is to stick with water based/ acrylic on paper. Just my advice.
I’m not an oil painter, so I cannot recommend any confidently. But if I were to try it I would try the canvas stock
Thanks for the review! Have you ordered any prints since this video? Any feedback?
I have yet to order from them, still researching the best and most effective way to create reproductions that work for me. Best of luck and you're most welcome! Wish I could help more :)
Hello there, I will be using giclee today for my art prints. They are basically quote prints. Mostly are white background with black font writings. And a few has a colourful background. What do you recommend? I notice alot of printable quote shops tend to go with the Archival Matte paper. What do you think would be good ? Most of my clients are people who buy quotes for their offices as my quotes are mostly dedicated for working people - like leadership, teamwork quotes, success quotes and many more. Would appreciate to hear from you. Thanks !
Kreative Doctor Hello! Go with the Archival Matte paper -230 gsm, 9.5 mil:
“Smooth, neutral-white, matte paper for high-quality fine art, photo reproduction, and open-edition decor. It supports accurate color reproduction and high-contrast, high-resolution output, and is acid-free for a longer print life with pigment inks.”
What you you suggest for prints of black & white pen & ink drawings?
I would recommend Moab Entrada Rag Natural or the Bright White for the heavier card stock or the Studio Watercolor if you'd like texture for pen/ink drawings. Although if you want their professional input, since they know their products best, I'd ask Giclee today for a second opinion too just to be safe! Happy Printing
Thank you!
Did you only order a sample kit or did you actually print something with them and if so did you receive that order?
R R , this is only the sample kit. I have yet to order through them
I just ordered a sample kit, I haven't ordered anything from them yet. No particular reason why
what is the cost
