Hey if you're wondering how to actually get players in your game, I made a video talking about it which you can watch here: th-cam.com/video/3BHo5a_OF5U/w-d-xo.html
hey can you Please Say , how much you waisted on the Advertising the game , Beacause i am about to finish my Game and i dont really know how much Should i Waist on Advertising and for how long . I Would Really Uppreciate that .
This might single handedly be the best roblox video on how to make robux. Ur literally so right everyone else that makes videos about this isnt about it. It was so bad I had to go to a point where i was messaging every dev that had at least 200 concurrent players on their game and ask questions. Ty for this video u should definitely make a discord server
Ill be honest, I watch these types of videos not because I want to know how to do it, but to get motivation or just have the video tell me something that makes me want to do it. But this video in particular really answered that dreaded boredom of mine. I dont want to spend weeks making a game: Im in college and roblox games is not going to be my primary workflow I dont want to make a game and have it flop: It will make me question if roblox development is even worth it This video really gave me the idea I was not even looking for. This is really good from you, especially with such a low subscriber and view count.
I played this game when it had 5000 visits, and I was talking with one of your devs or mods. He was a chill guy, we talked about how brilliant an idea this was, and how much this game is going to make. I was like, "how did you guys make this, i can't script global effects and all that". He told me it's super easy, and all. Super chill dude, anyways, great video. Funny that this popped up on my reccomended.
you have to approach it one step at a time, start with the most basic shit, like learning what a variable is, what a function does, etc. Its a very cliche thing but thats how it works. You just need to take on coding one step at a time. Like what i did is made a studio for learning to script, and then every new thing i learned, i made like 5 scripts on it to make sure i got it in my head. When you learn something you have to practice it constantly until you can just take it out the back of your mind.
@@Restlreim its not his fault, they capitalize on what works bro its the players fault for not playing good games, the players are the ones who make the game popular or not
Well, first make like 2 games before the big idea, like dont make your first game the dream game because nobody will find it, its like if Nosiny games made rivals their first game. Like if it has a low player count people will think its poorly made, but if you get known and your games aren’t bad people will actually play them (I wont talk about treasure quest or anything because most of yall only know them from rivals)
The best part of this video is that it's straight up and no BS and it's how the real world works. You get paid for either a product (making a game people are willing to play) or a service (working for and helping other creators), it mirrors our actual life and economy. It's essentially similar to just working a real job and spending money on robux but in a way more fun ecosystem and less pressure.
I mean reading others scripters is good way of learning but yeah i'd consider scripting things learning new things asking devs about here opinion what you should do and shouldn't do. Great video!
Is suprising that some famous devs know how to make their game wholesome just by messing around in studio or learnt how to code by their own heart, pls tell us ur ways or make a vid about what vids/and what to do to learn coding and understand it well
For The Final Countdown, I spent around 40K to 50K for the game to get players and after a week of running ads the game finally picked up Ads aren't necessary to get players they just help to make it faster
The problem is I don't have much free time. I am a student so i also have to foucs on my studies and homework, assignment, projects etc. So I want to learn and make a good game but I don't have time to do so.
the only issue with the second method is advertising, you'd spend 10k+ robux to get that much players quickly, the profit is way higher you need quite a bit of cash to kickstart it
"im not gonna start yelling and spamming sound effects like everyone else who talks about it but aren't actually about it" *title says 3 days of work, thumbnail shows past 90 days*
Type of game if you want to make bobux 1. gambling (likely to farm builder club players) 2. pay to play (game is free but if you want to participate, you need to pay. Likely farming people's curiosity) Work most of the time because rich people have the money to burn
Good video, though I'm curious as to how you get players into your game. Does it just happen organically, do you pay for ads, do you advertise on social media?
this is nice and all but how much did u spend on advertising to get the game going , cuz thats what really is necessary to understand to get a game to the algorithm , and most of us dont know how much we need for that
Saw someone who paid off his house with UGCs, downloaded blender the next day and learned the bare basics in my summer break. I’m making like 100-220 bucks a day at 17 from UGCs now. He never knew what he did by flexing his earnings 😭
@intelblox7354 it’s for everyone as long as you have 10 dollar plus premium. I’ve found something which works and uploaded variants of the thing I found worked plus trends so I could be more sure of my first ugc selling enough for my second one. There’s also those who just upload shit tons of hats, I know a guy who does like 20 a week and has like 15k daily? I did like 3 a week when I started out and gradually scaled up and do like 10 max a week now
Did you pay Robux to advertise ur game or how did you get players? And if so, how many Robux did u pay for each day of advertising and for which Players, like Console, Pc or Smartphone, and for which ages?
I'm trying to figure out a game where criminals could somehow launder their money or do something else to aid their illicit behavior. Think this would really start the robox printing machines.
Before any aspiring devs watch this and think you could make a quick game and expect Robux to be pouring in. For this to work you also need good marketing skills and connections aka eyes on your project. The message of this video is good, but misleading in some aspects.
well, for a 3 day game, i would say it’s pretty good. you won’t expect a game that u made to reach like 2k players every day since those have multiple employees working on it
why is this game not popular anymore though, like what made it die down? if someone else had this idea and made this game before/after you, would it work or not? What are the factors that determine success for a gimmick game?
Every time the timer reached 0 it would teleport players into a seperate place temporarily but since there were so many servers and people joining the game it fucked up the algorithm because I had to shut down a few times to fix bugs
