A Jo Malone candle is possibly my favourite gift to buy for someone? I LOVE how they wrap the candles in tissue paper that has been sprayed with perfume. It's perfect! My favourite is 'French Lime Blossom' but I will definitely look out for that one from now on! xx

I don't think you need to feel guilty about purchasing the dress. I think the amount of occasions you will need it for and the love that you have for it are worth the money. I love that you're a ribbon lady! I actually do something similar with beautiful wrapping paper that I get at wedding/baby showers. It's just going to be tossed away so i'd rather take it home and give it new life. My friends make fun of me for it but wait until they need nice wrapping paper! That lace dress is stunning- I had a similar one that I adored and it accidentally got washed with a red sock and turned a mucky pink colour! At least mine was only a cheapy one from topshop and not nearly £200!

My mom keeps ribbons from packages, and sometimes even the packages... to re-use. You never know, esp. those sticker-stars on packages. Just re-glue them. Done! ;)

I once spent an evening tidying my ribbon drawer so you've got a way to go yet. You've got to use them though dude, I usually incorporate them in gift wrapping.
My parents have been keeping the ribbons to everything my whole life. I now have a draw in my bedroom full of them, they're never used but I don't want to throw them away haha

I once spent an evening tidying my ribbon drawer so you've got a way to go yet. You've got to use them though dude, I usually incorporate them in gift wrapping.
My parents have been keeping the ribbons to everything my whole life. I now have a draw in my bedroom full of them, they're never used but I don't want to throw them away haha
