Yes! Great choice, Steve. A personal fave of mine and Edith too. It was the 'Dith's birthday a couple of weeks ago and the boy sang this song karaoke at her party for her! (The first time he's ever sung in front of people!) I love this! 🙏
Fine song and performance. I have only seen one of TS's mega concerts on Netflix. The production there is impressive, but your version really makes the listener concentrate on the lyrics, which, for me, are paramount in a good song.
@@berniarmstrong funnily enough I spotted her tour film was available somewhere on our TV last night, so maybe some Christmas viewing. I know my daughter was desperate to see her, but she was also desperate to get married around the same time, so that took priority.
It would seem you know at least one more of Taylor's songs than I do! This is a great song, and I'm looking forward to hearing more of her stuff this week. I know she's well respected as a songwriter, and it's easy to see why hearing your take on this one ~
@@kevingriffin9893 Thanks Kevin. I'll be honest and say I have never sat down and listened to her albums - I really should. But a few times I have heard a good song on the radio and then heard the DJ say "...and that was Taylor Swift"
@@Bystander929 Having a daughter who was a teenager 10 years ago means I have heard quite a few of her songs, but not really listened to them. This week might correct that.
Super, that's the way to play this song 👍
The Mr Sjp treatment 👍
As dad of a fully paid up Swiftie she needs to see this Steve, this is pretty darn excellent!
@@PGUke Thank you kind Sir. I may incorporate costume changes and launch myself as a tribute act.
GRAMPS I THINK IM IN LOVE😍😍😍
This is so good. Thanks for bringing it. Smiling so hard I think my face cracked.
@@boweewowee thank you!
Super cool performance
@@kimithetrekkie thanks for listening!

Congratulations to her and her intended!

Hahaha, those lyrics are hilarious. I'm going to learn so much TS songs this wee, thanks to you, Bob, Edith and probably many others...
@@ukeanflute Yes, it will be one of those educational weeks.
Great Steve. I opted for another choice, but this sounds good.
@@PHJimY thanks for listening Jim!
Nice interpretation Steve. If I close my eyes I can almost see the sequinned Ms Swift…almost:)
@@jp888then ...but not quite.
I’m ashamed to say that I couldn’t name any of her songs, I kinda stopped listening to modern music about 10 years ago.

Wow ... these lyrics don't sit well with you, Steve; lovely stuff, Sir!
@@limousinlil Thanks Val. I like singing unlikely lines.
