4:30 Hymnal + MW Pipes is great. I also has a great heart-melting variation with an "Aah" choir (instead of the default "mmh" choir) which is activated when you turn the MW all the way up IIRC
Nobody does module versions any longer. You can get a Roland Integra-7 (introduced eight years or so ago), Yamaha recently discontinued the Motif Rack XS... and that's about it for major manufacturers. You can get a keyboard or a desktop module. You can always hunt down a used Wavestation SR like I did. Programming won't be nearly as easy, but you can use an editor for that.

I have one, and they ARE fabulous - BUT the build quality is not great. The keys are flimsy, not nice to play, and the thing is so light it would blow away in a breeze. However, Korg are releasing a full size version with aftertouch and aluminium knobs........I'm there!!!!!
if u r looking for good pad sounds then move to roland jd08 boutique. load some custom voices . u will be impressed... wavestate is in different category.
Korg are due to release a Wavestate SE - 61 keys, aftertouch with more solid body. I have a wavestate - great sounds but very cheaply made, unfortunately. Hope the full size one will be quality!
Arturia Pigments is better. I have tried Wavestate software and samples are dirty. Some sounds are sampled with reverb ! it sounds metallic no presence and many are unusable..I will never buy it even in software

It needs a full 5 octave keyboard .. glad it’s on it’s way. Nice demo as usual 👍

@@SeverityOne Plenty of companies are doing modules. Korg released a desktop module of the XD recently so I expect one of the Wavestate at some point.

Never had a chance to get a prophet VS or the original wave station...(I do have a DAVE SMITH EVOLVER though) but I definitely want one of these.

YAMAHAも少しだけ手を出していたけど、KORGのVectorシンセ(特にWavestation)の簡易版なんでしょうね。
Wavestationを使っていた私から見ると、パラメーターが視認しやすくて良いと思います。

interesting about flimsy keys , I ordered a Kross & thought the same , so I returned it . I may go & try the wavestate before I buy one.

I now know how they made the Oblivion/Skyrim soundtracks! A lot of the sounds are either really cinematic or just plain crazy.
