    Playing music that makes people want to dance, is even more important now a days. Because if it makes you want to dance then it feels good, and we need more music that feels good

    I saw Johnny Copeland live once in Portland, OR in the mid 80s. He had that bar rockin'. And often, maybe between every song, he'd say Everybody, there is one thing that you've got to know. This is the East Texas Blues!!! Haha, great show.

    So passionate and wonderfully melodic which I like as a guitarist. Your skill at playing those 16th note rhythms for the harmony is such a rush! Many cheers!

    Does it make me a weirdo for preferring the neck pickup on a Tele to the bridge pickup? I also prefer the neck on a Strat and a 335. I'm assuming I'm in the extreme minority, right?

    • @tonygairomusic911
      @tonygairomusic911 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm with you! I almost never play on the bridge pickup.

      @@Benjamin-- I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I mean I guess Clapton liked it too since the woman tone apparently came from the neck. The Crossroads solo tone is the holy grail tone to me. That's what I always reach for on my 335.

    Just checked out Rutter guitars. He needs a better web builder. He only hand 2 guitars on his site. Yep I get it
    One man SHOW !
    But if his website is to bring in work for custom guitars.
    His site needs, a company or person that can make it a site!

    A lot of people did this song it is a standard..Did Roosevelt Sykes write it who wrote this song..Rays single is 58 atlantic probably the best version but for guitar players this Johnny Copeland is whats up..i get a strong Jimmy Nolan vibe off this version..Johnny Copeland was real solid legend..talking with people that play blues gigs bars jobs we have always came to make them dance
