Hey! I'm new to Pokemon scene! It's fascinating but also overwhelming. How do you go about deciding what to buy and what to keep for the long run(like you keeping the van gho)? So many cards and items.

Hey welcome to the pokemon scene! It awesome and I agree overwhelming I just started in last October so I'm still learning a lot! What I typically do is watch other content creator and see what info I can learn from them. Also I use TCGPlayer and Pricecharting to see what sets/single cards were really expensive and now loosing value! Its like stocks you want to buy low and save for later when the price rises again. An example is pokemon 151 japense boxes and Shiny treasures boxes. At one point Shiny treasures ex boxes were $100 a box now they are about $40. Thats one i would keep for the long run and buy now that its cheap. Pokemon has had 2 other shiny/ special sets like it and both after a few years are around that $100+ range!

Yeah it’s like a catch 22 I wanted some more cash for the card show since it was happening now but I could of went on eBay for more. Or cracked the slab and sold on tcgplayer since it’s going for like 500 rn raw
