Actually the person who saved ichigo during his fight with kenpachi was ichgios Quincy powers but you’ll never know that because it’s revealed in the manga after the anime ended

Truly a great fight in the best arc of the anime.
It was the one that made the most sense and actually built a base for the hollow arc
this truly was an awesome battle!
I think the reason he didn't let hollow take over his body was because once he gave up his body he would have never get that back.🙄
