back when you listened to "song 4" you mentioned how they must proform when and commented about when things go wrong. there is an example you can see how they react when something goes wrong (although you cant see the actually when it happens) Budokan Red Night, held March 1st 2014, nearly self-destructed towards the end. During the middle of "Headbanger!", the next-to-last song, Yui fell off the stage at least 8' to the concrete floor Yui is absent for the rest of that song but she is back onstage for the last song
The Fox Festivals 2017 were the last concerts of "classic" Babymetal. Mikio died in an accident and Yui disappeared due to health reasons, we are told. 😥
Yui clearly has a back brace on at the Big Fox concert, and forces herself to smile, not nearly as animated, and makes some mistakes in the choreo, which Yui just doesn't normally do. Also, Mikio's last performance is Baptism XX.
@@allegorical That's one theory anyway. No-one outside of Team Babymetal knows what really happened, and none of them will ever tell, so it's all speculation.
@@allegorical - I Don't keep up with the babymetal news that often, but I remember some years ago people commenting that Yui fell off the stage during one of their live shows, wasn't that fall just before she started mentioning "health issues"? I always had the impression that there was something weird to the official version of Mikio's death, I feel like it could be an accident related to the insane stages they were building back then for BluRays but if they told us the truth it would make the organizers look bad, we will never know.
Watched them live 2 Days ago in Hannover Germany at Sabatons Tour to End all Tours and it was fucking awesome can't wait to see them again in November in Hamburg from the first row
YAVA! is one of my favourites. I love the catchiness, the choreography and how the song builds. You can really feel the frustration grow as the song progresses, especially on Su's perfect vocal delivery. Such a cool song, love it!
"Paarira paarira fuu" and "pippo poppo pi" are just vocables. Like "la-la-la" "dum diddy dum". The title of the song "YAVA!" is the English/slang vocalization of the Japanese word "yabai" which is a word used to express either surprise, or in this song's case, "oh no!" or a surprised "what?!" Although the song is up to interpretation, most feel that it is a song from the perspective of a new Babymetal listener when they first hear them. Like ,"what is this? This is so different. I shouldn't like this but I do. OH NO! (YAVA!) I think I like this! It's like this and like that, it's so different. Should I like it? OH NO! I think I like this." .... Or something to that effect😅
Thank you so much for sharing these Fox Festival videos! The Kami Band does another killer intro to Awadama Fever, so definitely go for the Fox Festival performance of that. When they sing “Peep-oo Pop-oo Peep-oo Pop-oo Peep,” they are imitating the sound of a phone being dialed. Apparently they do that a lot in Japan, imitating the sounds of things more than we do. This is according to language professor “Duane Metal.” He has great TH-cam videos explaining BABYMETAL lyrics.
Good reaction ... and you may have trouble understanding exactly what the lyrics are about in this one since they are all about being confused🦊... or something like that.
This is one of those songs nobody can agree to what it means, but I think it is like not being able to choose between two similar things like a shirt or a paint color and everyone says they are exactly the same just pick one, but you have a nagging feeling that they aren't quite the same but you can't put your finger one what is different and it is driving you crazy, and as the song goes on she becomes more and more sure that they are different until the end where she has no doubt. If you notice at the beginning when the girls are being lifted up to the stage Moa is already singing the guitar part, that is a little trait she has she can't not do that, sometimes you will catch her singing along to Su's parts when she isn't supposed to and even in interviews she does it if there is music in the background, I wouldn't be surprised if that is where the pi pa pi pa pi pa pi came from when they were first learning the song, a lot of Babymetal stuff starts that way, including some of the choreo and most famously The Fox Sign
Parira parira fuu and pippo pappo, I think they are just scat in Japanese, but expresses to to be going crazy in this case, I guess. YAVA! means the Japanese slang word, 'Yabai'. It has a several meanings, bad and cool. So the song is badass and cool. Thank you from Japan!

The musicians in Lovebites are every bit as good as the Kami Band, maybe check their live performances out too. They are an all female Japanese metal band, I don't know what they are putting in the water over there but they need to export it.
Hey TYLR, I agree the band is amazing as well, this is a great song. I have one HUGE request, could you react to Danny Carey Pneuma by TOOL? The actual song name is Pneuma. The drummer's name is Danny Carey. They put cameras in his area so they could record him performing this song as he goes INSANE during this song. I know you said the drummer is amongst the best, and while I agree he is amazing, I think you'll get a kick of what Danny can do. Anyhow, I can't wait for you to get to No Rain, No Rainbow, The One, and Shine. And just as a bit of a "fun fact" (always kinda hated using that expression, but for once it kind of fits), Japan almost used Shine for the Olympics. The only reason that in the end it wasn't used was mainly due to politics sadly. Anyhow, great reaction as always! Hope you do more Babymetal soon!
That beat, choreo, and breakdown. YAVA excels!
Lyric confusing? No worry! It's literally about girls being confused!
One of my favorite songs!! I hope they bring it back.
Finally you got to Yava! My personal number one Babymetal song. One of these days, I hope I will manage to be at a show where they play it live...

Got to love their take in Ska Metal.

It's a song that describes how we feel when we see Yuimetal and Moametal. From "alike" to "very different".🦊
