I got these myself and love them. They will be great for traveling. I like that you no longer need to connect an external device for the additional display options/adjustments.
@@user-kf4gt7bo2kcompletely understand the frustration man! I really wanted the air 2 pro but convinced myself not to until they made a pair that had 3 dof without an external device so I went for the xreal one^
I went to the mall trying to find AR glasses and there are none, but they all sell monitors and monitors for gaming. Just think about the fact that there is literally no need for these, the hardware companies are going to run obsolete in this market segment, and it will help solve other problems such as bad posture during long working or gaming sessions.
Heads up from a disgruntled customer: This company does not care about their userbase, they've abandoned ALL of their past hardware with basically no meaningful updates. I wasted my money on this novelty a couple years ago, and the software side has been left behind.
Thanks for the video. I got xreal air 1 and beam and while I like the video viewing experience a lot, the productivity part was disappointing. I don't do apple products but I assume this is for any laptop with alt display port C support?
No. They don't. You actually have to buy the glasses frame that used to come with xreal pro. Now your spending money on the glasses and if you wear glasses. You have to spend more money on the frames for your lenses.
Xreal's glasses use distance vision as the image is a virtual "projection" (similar to the Pepper's Ghost illusion) not reading/near vision. The Xreal's have a Rx lens adaptor you can have Rx lenses made for from Xreal's lens lens partners or a local optician.
They're certified low-blue light by TuV labs, and displays "being close to the eye" has been widely debunked as harmful to vision, though people with existing conditions can get headaches/eyestrain due to their conditions. That said, it's always good to take a break for a few minutes every hour or two when using any display.
This technology is promising but... only use to see things, no to interact with them (eg:hand tracking)... obviously for that cameras (more than one maybe) would be needed... so more weight and form factor (where to put them...) difficult... I guess that will be find in the future.

XReal makes decent hardware but their software suuuuucks and they don't put any effort into fixing it. They just keep coming out with new hardware for people to spend their $$$. Just sold mine today. The only practical use case was using them on an airplane for privacy and I don't fly enough to rationalize keeping them.
WTF ⁉ Why didn't APPLE make a version of this ⁉ At a competitive price-point ⁉ Wasted $10 Billion on a FAILED 🔥 "apple car project" when they could have CRUSHED this product-niche ⁉ Crazy 🤪
All of these AR Glasses are a scam because they lead you to believe that the image is "giant" when it in fact they have a Field of View of only about 50 degrees, whereas when I wear my Quest 3 headset the FOV is 110 degrees. The beautiful image looks like a TV 15 feet away.

Great video! Thanks for the review!
Back to the future must be soo proud
Should I buy this model or wait for the Xreal One Pro ?

Resolution is only HD, No HDR, it's like having autolock and autowindows for your car to manual.
GREG 👋 XReal website says this product is $499.00. but the Amazon site says $599.00, am I missing something ⁉
Amazon has an instant $100 coupon. I ordered them there before they did that. They were $499 there on 1/1. Not sure why they changed it.
@@js349 K, thanks...
So do you think the one pro is really worth the wait and better question is do you really think it justifies $100 more for it?

1:24 THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!
i not see any reason for 3dof in usb-c monitor. Also, as I know here is no multi-desktop mode anymore.
The elephant in the room that you didn't address is.... what about all of us who have to wear glasses to see?
You can insert your own prescription lenses
They give you glasses in the case you take to the optometrist to be cut and clipped in

@@GregsGadgets good to know
Apparently the Pro version which will be $100 more can be ordered with some kind of adjustment for that. There will be more than 1 option.
The ultrawide doesn't work on any phones. Only computers.
What’s the difference of this and air 2 ultra ??? Between price
Online it said 147 vs 171 viewing screen
fix image, ipd adjustment, more fov
Isn’t 4m is a little bit far ? Like for work ? If you want to read emails or code or reading in general ?
@ it doesn’t really explain anything
@ i see thank you
if you used samsung, be alot better experience because of dex, cloning a iphone just not doing it
Ok, but I use glasses for short distances. Is this works for me?

Whoa… I was waiting for the price to be over $1000. At $500, this actually could be amazing for some people.
Is it bad for health of eyesight?

I have these but i would warn that they are battery hogs. Get an adaptor for power to use them to their best
So is this a paid promotion? We can see the links (eg amazon) are referral, so there’s likely a kickback. This should be disclosed.

can you stream a movie and go for a walk with these?
Yes you can IF you have a Samsung phone because the Samsung Dex feature also works with this glasses
Thanks! @muhammadizzatdanish2788 think I'll wait for the pro in March
For the price these have, you can get a Meta Quest 3, and that is so much better in every single waay except I guess size.

$500 for a dorky 1080p monitor? Nope. I'd rather get a 4k portable monitor for $99.
which portable 4k monitor that is $99?
