I like these older Astons, they're so much nicer-looking than the current, overstyled ones. I like Tiff Needell's presentation, too.

To me there's nothing more detestable that caring what your car is worth to someone else. Caring about how much you can make selling it on, e.g. caring about at it as an investment, should be enough to get you flogged. That attitude has left countless cars out of the reach of us that want to use, that is, DRIVE THEM.

What year is the latest manual you can buy?
I’ve got a DB9 but would love a DBS but they are silly money now .
Saw one of these on the road the other, amazingly with passengers in the rear.

Obviously supercar buyers are wankers who buy cars to impress rather than drive. Poor sad people, bit like Roman Abramazich (or how ever you spell it). The guys owns a top Premiership football club but sits in his box every game like Billy Nomates. I'd rather be me, I've always wanted a GT3, now I want a GT4, I can't afford either but it wouldn't be about the money and you can spot a wanker as he will say 'poor mans Porsche', not 'ah, thinking mans Porsche'. Manual all the way, I'll have an auto when I'm really really old. Nah, if you can't drive a manual, you shouldn't be allowed to drive.

I got a top gear ad on a fifth gear video
As a cyclist it's one of the very few cars I get excited about, great video clip guys.
My previous car was an Audi A4 with the tiptronic automatic gearbox, and that gearbox was great, really smooth and nice to drive. Just put it to D and drive.
Manual is the way to go, but I wouldn't say no for a nice deal on an auto example.
Manual coupe and auto volante is the only way.
Compare Tiff, Quentin Wilson and Jason Plato to existing Top Gear presenters! ( Chris Harris is great and well worth the watch). Porsche have the PDK when will Aston produce an equivalent?

The traumatronic gearbox is slow as fuck...

Which one you would have if you were having to buy with ya own money the Dbs manual or auto.
Also on the auto does it actually give you the gear and at the time you want it when coming down the box. For eg if we’re approaching a corner at a fast speed and asked for third or second does it actually give you it there and then or do you have to wait for it to say when you can have it. Then it’s too late and spoilt the corner or worse.

Skeptz I love manuals. But I had a db9 for a while and getting stuck in traffic Jams and the constant stopping and starting and changing gears I’ve always said I’d have auto after that.
changes gear just as fast with the paddles, have to remember these Astons are more GT cars than all-out sports cars.
a proper tour de grande u lucky devil.. the new ones are all video game screen and millennial. of course its practical but less smexy sir.. the bezel watch jewelry is class and the key if not cracked is beautiful brag piece of sapphire lux.

They have loads of material and the sooner it goes up, the quicker it will give them some revenue, TH-cam may vanish up it's own ass in the very near future, make the money now.

Yes, but it gets more complicated with Lamborghini. Because Lambos use steering wheel paddle shifts instead of an actual foot clutch.

What rubbish is that gauge cluster? The speedometer going one direction and tacho going the other? It'll make one go mad in less than half an hour of driving. smh

I love it...the individualism of it
that isn't a automatic but a sequential gearbox. A automatic you don't change gears at all (yourself) while you had to use a lever at the steering wheel.
Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) allows you to change the clogs. You can leave the gearbox in Auto mode all the time, or change it manually in case if you wanted to have fun. ;)
