If you ever want to hear great cadence caller go to Fort Brag when there is a 82nd Brigade or batallion run. That is the BeST place to hear it.

Listening to cadence is a great way to keep me awake, it makes me feel awesome, cant wait to joint eh army in 3 years or so
I'm in future soldier training right now (just a few more lbs to go!) but, the amount of soul in the drill sergeants voice makes me wish I was there tomorrow!

HOOAH! This just pumped me up for the day. Thanks for posting it.
Oct. 1989..Echo Co. 186. 2nd Battalion 3rd platoon..Ft. Bliss..once I took over as platoon guide didn't realize how I would miss Drill yelling"Thompson take over"..how Basic turned us into men..and how I miss those days..lol
Always reminds me how bad basic was in 2002, when our highlight at Sandhill was singing cadence!
J Tick
I loved our cadences, E 2/54 @ Sand Hell, oops, I mean Sand Hill, at Benning in 1991!
DS Bulick was our head Drill Sergeant, knew enough cadences, we never repeated once, except for his "special request run" we did on Sunday afternoon: We'd each write our cadences we wanted to sing on the run, then everyone would put a ✅by the ones they liked, the ones with the most votes we called during the run!! Good memories, HOOO-AH! A Co. 3/9 Manchus, 7th ID(L), Ft. Ord, CA.
rock steady drill sergeant
Nice to see they dont have a patch after red phase *Thumbs up* to these DS for keeping it the way it should be. GL Boys an Girls! Enjoy the FTX!
brings back memories
wish he was one of my Drill Sgts back at ft. Leonard Wood
If you wanna be INFANTRY you gotta do it my way. For me
Have been searching for old cadences I can't remember any more from Fort Ord in the '50's -- DS's were Korean war vets and had cadences that would frost your nuts --can't do that any more of course but wud like to hear them again.
I miss the old school stuff
Really nice cadence
good ole relaxin jackson..memories B2/60 "scouts out!"
i wish in navy basic we had Cadence like this
08 DCo 1-61 1st PLT Wardogs. DS Mendiola was a beast with the cadences.
Missed difference between column (left) and flank (left) once. First and last time. Never missed it again.

A choir instead of war fighters but that's alright. If one or two can put some rounds down range on target.
