    You know, I never thought about there being different water hose threads until now. and with that, I thank you

    Great video. One tip, here in the states (New Jersey), when winterizing, I flush the engine and exhaust with RV Marine Antifreeze. This prevents any chance of freezing. Thank you for the video!

      Thanks George. Our lowest temp here in Brisbane is around 5 degree's celsius for maybe 1 week of the year. The rest of the year it averages 26 degree. No need to winterize over here.

    Hey Jamie, thanks for the video.
    If you can kindly summerize (even in a comment) the steps to winterize sxt15f. In my mind, an oil and filter change, fuel stabilizer, system flush with anti freeze and spark plug compartment fogging (I've seen people do it on seadoos, not sure if it's needed with kawi)

      Hi Ryan, We don't have the need to Winterize ski's here in Brisbane. We ride all year round.
      However I think we could do a video in the near future for you. Subscribe to the channel to make sure you get notified. Thanks

      To prevent corrosion from salt water, salt air rusting the bolts / surfaces.

    At the end of your hose where it connects to your ski you should have a simple on off valve right there just in case your ski suddenly dies to prevent flooding the motor. I always blow the excess water out for like 30 seconds like he did. Tilt the bow up and let any water drain out. Ride safe 🤟

    If you run on tank water and have lowish water pressure is it ok if its just dribbling out the tell tale

    • @BrisbaneKawasaki
      @BrisbaneKawasaki  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you know the reason why it is dribbling out the tell tail, yes.
      The ski will alert you with heat code if it is not getting enough water supply

    New to jet ski. I flushed my 2020 stx today and had the water coming out the back but not the tell tale hole. I had the water at a decent pace but maybe I needed a little more so that it comes out the tell tale hole?

    • @BrisbaneKawasaki
      @BrisbaneKawasaki  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Turn the water tap all the way on and check your hose for kinks. It should flow out the tell tale. If not it's either a blockage inside the tell tale (wasp nest etc) or a blockage at the manifold into that pipe, you can remove the pipe and blow through it, you may need to use a shortened piece of coat hangar and poke in the the manifold piece if it is inside the manifold.

    Question for you? Does the standard flush port actually flush through all of the water lines especially the water intake lines? I have excess debris in the stator cover, which is causing ski to overheat immediately, but will flush fine with no overheating for 15 mins..Please let me know..
    Thankyou

    • @BrisbaneKawasaki
      @BrisbaneKawasaki  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On the STX, it does. But in reverse.
      If you can't get it out by flushing you'll need to remove them and clean out.

    Hey im looking at a 2010 model. How reliable are they?? It's got 42 hours on it and wants 2,000 USD. You think its a good deal?

    • @TheManWhoSawTomorrow
      @TheManWhoSawTomorrow 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      42hrs is nothing for a jetski. thats a really good price.

    • @BrisbaneKawasaki
      @BrisbaneKawasaki  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      42hrs on a Jetski is low, however 3.8hrs a year is a very bad thing. Marine recreation vehicles need to be used or sold.
      Sitting around is very bad for them.
