My friends dad, brother, uncle, cousin said the way you made your rig won’t work, just kidding 😆
I have for years been doing the dropper rig the old style way, but good god, that way you made it is so much easier and faster! Sometimes the obvious is in our face, but we ignore it.
    Thanks Captain 🍻

Does using monofilament as the main line work well? I just got a great deal - the guys at the local tackle shop spooled my reel with monofilament for free. I'm wondering if it will suit my needs for 3/4 day offshore fishing trips specifically to catch rockfish

So no top shot required for rock fishing except for the dropper loop correct? Just go from the braid directly into your mono dropper loop correct? Thanks.

Did you tie a leader/topshot to the braid or are you trying the everything directly to the braid?

      Nope I use a leader

Did you cut the loop to make it a single line? If so did you cut the end of loop towards sinker or does it even matter

I was wondering the same..i dont believe it matters..seems like youd be cutting the line in retrospect @cootbreath

Please show dropper loop more slowly with larger line. Where did the second loop come from that you gave a half twist?

I’ve watched a few of your videos now because I’ve heard you for years on Let’s Talk Hook Up and one of your videos randomly showed up in my TH-cam feed recently. I have to say that listening to you disparage your customers over and over has made me loose respect you. Countless times on sport boats I’ve seen crew speak to customers with similar contempt. I will never understand it.
