Mines just made the 6 year mark without any problems. I have cleaned the internal dust buildup every six months or so. I always have kept my consoles clean after owning a desktop computer and seeing the amount of dust they collect after just a couple of months. Yours only lasting six months must have been down to a manufacturing fault that was missed during quality control. It's definitely not normal for them to have problems that young as I know 2 other people with the same console. Both are over five years old and still working fine. Even without any maintenance and visible dust buildup, they still outperform an unused standard model.
I don't know what to do, xbox one series X is coming soon. But I don't like the design of it, I prefer xbox one x, but the series x has more power than the xbox one X!

I'm not a PC elitist, I used to play on console and have built my own PC a little over a year ago. I can find games much cheaper for Steam and Origin on g2a. I also use my computer for documents/work. The only downside right now is the PC hardware market prices are high.
The exclusives being "better" is a matter of opinion, but it's a fact that the PS4 Pro is not powerful enough to compete with this Xbox's specifications.
