Signal RGB - Gigabyte Aorus motherboard - RGB lights stay on after PC shutdown. How to fix !

Thank you so much, my LEDs and case fans were on 24/7 when they were plugged into the rgb header , the ErP setting is what finally stopped them spinning.

I know abt This option and is only available on gigabytes am4 boards or lower. They remove it for am5.. no idea what they are doing

Thankyou, i have the exact same problem with the same motherboard and software. My rgb fans now finally turn off when my system shuts down. The rgb fans still are lit when the pc enters sleep mode though, is there a fix to this?

Which motherboard do you have? On my setup the only things that stay lit during sleep mode is my RGB ram sticks. Everything else turns off in sleep mode. The system I have in this video is a Z490 Aorus Ultra

I'm using the Gigabyte aorus b550 master. In sleep mode only the RGB fans light stays on while everything else is fine.

Which model motherboard do you have? First thing I would do is make sure your BIOS is fully updated to the latest version, then look for the LED sleep settings again

@@ZiadAunallah Z790 Aorus elite X wifi 7 and I think it’s fully updated. My bios version is F5. But I don’t know which model; there’s 3 models 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2.

@@Kyoriiz UNfortunately the z790 has much different settings. This video is for a z490 board specifically. I do also have a z790 board so I can poke around in there and see if I can find an equivalent setting

All I did was do the things he asked in the video but with erp I turned it on and waited for the of too restart, I then shut it down and went back into bios and turned it off again and it worked

You might have an option set in the BIOS to always power on after a shutdown or power loss. Look for "AC Power Recovery" options somewhere in the bios

Didn't help, there is no option for LEDs in sleep, hibernation, and soft off states in my BIOS, only power on state...

What if we are just trying to get the aorus RGB ram or the aorus 3080ti GPU to sync? Anything in the bios? I have literally updated bios and chipset . And deleted anything that might interfere with the connection. Can’t figure it out

There is nothing in the BIOS that controls RGB sync on a Gigabyte Z490 chipset. That must be done via RGB Fusion in Windows. Download and install Gigabyte RGB Fusion if you haven't done so already. It can control any RGB ram that you have installed, and it should also detect any Gigabyte graphics cards you have installed.
