The longest video on the channel in 3 months. I'm definitely looking forward to doing one real soon. CM Punk and WWE was never gonna work because both sides were so different. Even if Punk never left in 2014, I doubt he would've remained for long. What did you think of CM Punk's final run?

CM Punk after losing the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2013, was something unique. While he had lots of great matches during this time, like a great rematch with Rock at Elimination Chamber, a WrestleMania classic with Undertaker, a SummerSlam classic with Lesnar, etc., you can tell this was when Punk was getting more done and done with the company, with the whole no getting breaks while injured, creative issues, backstage issues with management, and all that, no wonder he was done with wrestling. It really felt like they were building toward that with how both Punk and Bryan were booked together and had the same common enemy in the Authority. Have Bryan win the Royal Rumble and Punk win the title back from Orton at Elimination Chamber. It would have been the perfect time to do instead of Batista coming and getting the heat he got.
Yeah Punk is the most polarizing wrestler in wrestling, he's so hated but so loved at the same time, you can add John Cena or edge but i can see punk getting along with pro wrestling he isn't my favourtie superstar but i feel exicted when i hear him talk, his best year was 2011 no doubt but 2013 his rivaries were top notch.
A person I know who was on the writing staff at wwe from 13-15 told me when punk came back to wwe the funniest thing about everything that went down back then is that punk’s biggest advocate besides heyman in wwe was Stephanie McMahon. Apparently Stephanie really enjoyed working with cm punk when she was on n creative and was a big part of the creative for the ses. When Vince wouldn’t understand why people liked punk it was always Stephanie that had to explain it to him . Also this person heard from his friends still in the company that Stephanie was the one who all but had a deal for punk to come back to wwe in about a year before they signed the Fox deal and basically had the deal done, she got hhh on board and Vince has said to do it before Vince changed his mind at the very last min and kinda screwed Stephanie who had already basically made a hand shake deal. The rumor was that Vince gave Stephanie the ok because he thought punk would never say yes. Punk alluded to this deal in his post aew interview before wm. It’s crazy to think that Stephanie of all people was punk biggest supporter back then.
Punks should have main event wrestlemania in a triple threat with cena and rock he should have won and then lost the wwe championship to Bryan at summerslam 2013 and left and came back at the rumble heyman turn on him at the rumble and then he bring in brock for a match against punk at wrestlemania 30 that would made so much sense 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Question Premier, how do you feel about people saying he complained too much while being a "top guy" even tho he had multiple world title runs, main events, etc. I miss 2013 it was a very fun time possibly my favorite year!
Cm punk was at he's peak he was very hot in 2011 pipebomb then triple hhh didn't put him over at night of champions but he took alot of shit those 3 yrs Its a dam shame he deserve that main event status he should've been in the triple threat with cena & rock at wm
I stopped watching wwe when he walked out and sucks too bc it was only for a bit too but idk I’m from chicago too and you can tell he stop giving love when they stop giving it to him
Unrelated as my feelings don't pertain to this part of his run specifically, but CM Punk is so entitled sometimes man. He was great at points for sure but he's gotta be one of the most overrated stars ever. He'd hold one of the top belts and find a way to complain.
He destroyed his own career in WWE. The guy didn't know what he had, his ego got too big. I don't know what I would give to wrestle my idol The Undertaker at WrestleMania. It's a shame, some people do not appreciate what they have until it's gone.
Punk just wanted not to fucking work it seemed like. I love Punk, but here's why he wasn't gonna be Cena. Cena would have done EVERYTHING and showed up EVERYWHERE with a smile on his face that vince told him. Punk hated it after six months.
This poor poor man got jacked around I've heard the story like 10 times already but every time that I hear it I just get mad that things weren't better back then but you know for sure that he opened a lot of doors for other people unfortunately people's egos didn't want him to be involved in the bigger picture but he did make a difference CM punk will go down as a legend rather WWE want to acknowledge it or not I hope he does good things in aew
I honestly think CM Punk was majorly overrated. Was he decent in the ring? Yes. Was he good on the mic? Yes. But I do think he had a huge ego and that’s what truly destroyed everything. Even not in AEW there are talents much better than him but he’s the champ, doesn’t make sense 🤷♂️

LOL FROM 2015-2020 .IT WAS WORSE WWE YEAR.WWE CONTINUOSLY FELL OLY IN 2022 WHEN HHH X STEPHANIE TOOK OVER .WWE IMPROVED.
Punk was absolute gold, it’s a shame that he was treated pretty poorly from 2013-14
It was the doctor. He was treated well then
He should’ve been in the rock and Cena match at mania 29 and just have Cena pin rock like normal it wasn’t that hard to do
Hell if eddie ric never main event wrestlemania why should punk and rock take the pin that like say hogan takes the pin
@@edgeisthegoat ric wasn’t a wwe superstar long enough and Eddie passed before he got that chance your comment makes no sense
@@pleaseshutup7053 ric was in wwe from 2002 to 2008 and eddie should have main event wrestlemania with kurt
@@edgeisthegoat ric was past his prime and was pretty much a part time performer no he shouldn’t main event during that time. And wrong about Eddie Benoit hhh hbk should have main event and it Benoit was the rumble winner and completing an 18 year oddesy you sound dumb
Crazy second
Love his face turn. My only complaint was that Paul Heyman storyline went on way too long.
I’ve always felt the main event of WM30 should have been Cm Punk vs Daniel Bryan for the belt.
Do Chris Jerichos 2008-2010 run
Only If The WWE Used Him Right & He Didnt Have The Issues He Had Back Stage With Them This Man Was A Different Type Of Special THE BEST IN THE WORLD 🐐
A person I know who was on the writing staff at wwe from 13-15 told me when punk came back to wwe the funniest thing about everything that went down back then is that punk’s biggest advocate besides heyman in wwe was Stephanie McMahon.
I feel like if they had let him take a break and heal from his injuries he would have stuck around longer
Punk got a long ass tittle rain. In terms of position in the company punk was doing find. In terms of backstage things were obviously a problem
It was messed up for WWE to fire him before his wedding day. I always felt that was a Triple H call
CM Punk wore some cool t-shirts in his run
Punks should have main event wrestlemania in a triple threat with cena and rock he should have won and then lost the wwe championship to Bryan at summerslam 2013 and left and came back at the rumble heyman turn on him at the rumble and then he bring in brock for a match against punk at wrestlemania 30 that would made so much sense 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
you must work in wwe creative story lines
it should be very good to watch
He wasn't winning against Cena and the Rock
Yeah Wolverine punk was the end lol
I like how He has that Wolverine Style I thought he looked Badass on that Beard
make shield part 2
Question Premier, how do you feel about people saying he complained too much while being a "top guy" even tho he had multiple world title runs, main events, etc. I miss 2013 it was a very fun time possibly my favorite year!
Same bruh. I think 2013 was a great year. I really loved Punk's work at that time.
Hey paul say something stupid.🤣🤣🤣🤣

I get that they were trying to build Curtis axel but it’s wild to see him in this kind of feud years later
He was ic champ
@@pleaseshutup7053 yeah
Did Shawn and punk ever get a match ?
Bros last match was against billy Gunn woww
Cm punk was at he's peak he was very hot in 2011 pipebomb then triple hhh didn't put him over at night of champions but he took alot of shit those 3 yrs
Its a dam shame he deserve that main event status he should've been in the triple threat with cena & rock at wm
I stopped watching wwe when he walked out and sucks too bc it was only for a bit too but idk I’m from chicago too and you can tell he stop giving love when they stop giving it to him
Dolphs mitb run?
I love him cm punk
Unrelated as my feelings don't pertain to this part of his run specifically, but CM Punk is so entitled sometimes man. He was great at points for sure but he's gotta be one of the most overrated stars ever. He'd hold one of the top belts and find a way to complain.
Bro just ignore the fact that he was still treated like a second fiddle to Cena and ignore how Vince never cared for his health.
@@BeastiezCyZ He was a second man to Cena. Not to mention the doctors messed with him.
Cena shoulda beat rock at WM 28 and Cena vs Punk for WM29
He destroyed his own career in WWE. The guy didn't know what he had, his ego got too big. I don't know what I would give to wrestle my idol The Undertaker at WrestleMania. It's a shame, some people do not appreciate what they have until it's gone.
I wanted this punk to be champ so bad
Paul Say Something Stupid- Brock Lesnar
That thumbnail barely looks like him, lol.
Punk just wanted not to fucking work it seemed like.
I love Punk, but here's why he wasn't gonna be Cena. Cena would have done EVERYTHING and showed up EVERYWHERE with a smile on his face that vince told him. Punk hated it after six months.
Reminds me on how Cena worked a summer slam match with a injured elbow
Punk losing to Rock in the first face off was a mistake
Punk deserved to change the title design
He and Undertaker stole the show at Wrestlemania
I hate the word "deserved"
No Punk's run towards to end was pretty boring
Cm punk was burnt out to many injuries
Buddy just a cry baby
WWE fell off after Punk left
This poor poor man got jacked around I've heard the story like 10 times already but every time that I hear it I just get mad that things weren't better back then but you know for sure that he opened a lot of doors for other people unfortunately people's egos didn't want him to be involved in the bigger picture but he did make a difference CM punk will go down as a legend rather WWE want to acknowledge it or not I hope he does good things in aew
Punk's ego ruined himself
I honestly think CM Punk was majorly overrated. Was he decent in the ring? Yes. Was he good on the mic? Yes. But I do think he had a huge ego and that’s what truly destroyed everything. Even not in AEW there are talents much better than him but he’s the champ, doesn’t make sense 🤷♂️
