    Very haunting and eerie music but so beautiful too. I close my eyes and can picture the desert sands with all of the Pharaohs and the Egyptian people of the day especially Tutankhamun sitting on his thrown only 19 years old. How I wish I could go back to this time and era for just one minute if not longer. Egypt is so very beautiful and is one of the most historic places on earth. Love the video! Thanks for sharing/posting!

    When I do my studies on Ancient Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, I'm gonna be listening to this music. I think it would be kinda neat to be studying the Ancient Egyptian and listening to what is very very close to the real thing.

    This is lovely. I am so interested in Ancient Egypt, I have been drawn to it since I can remember. I am also looking to further my belief in the old gods by following Kemetic Orthodox practices. It all makes so much more sense to me than Christianity, which I believe started with one good man, good but still just a man, called Jesus who told stories and had a following, a bit like any book writer today has, I do not believe he was the son of god, the Egyptian gods are much older, and make sense.

    He will know a possible version of it, as nobody has ever heard the language spoken in Ancient Egypt. We can speculate and try things out, but the actual language hasn't been heard by anyone alive today. You'd need to go back in time to when it all began to know for sure. Something that will always fascinate me.

    Bast came through in the garden with me the other day when I was fussing my cat. She told me what a beautiful cat I have and that I must treasure him more so than I do my life. Bast to me is like a sister figure, very caring, not overly mothering like Sekhmet can be. Sekhmet and Bast often come through together, and land up pissing each other off after a bit lol. They are both very important to me though. I am going to be creating a shrine, making offerings and calling them into my life properly

    The Goddess doesn't care about the color of your skin. The Lotus is the sacred flower of the Divine Feminine and stands for purity of spirit.
    We are reincarnated and live many lives. We return again and again to learn the lessons which have not yet been learned, so that the way becomes clear to advance through our own abilities.
    Spirit is not characterized by restrictions, or by emphasizing the perceived and superficial 'differences' between people.
    Put aside all of your ego-based racist inclined comments and just surrender to the beautiful music of the Ancestors. Let us honor the Goddess by spreading Truth, Peace and tolerance .
    Blessed Be

    All these pieces are quite incredible, I love the insight for every piece, there seem to be a lot of comments on this one about a lack of African rhythm, but they would only have to listen to the other tracks you have done to see they are incorporated in your musical exploration of this time and place. It's all very modal as it should be of Ancient Egypt. I particularly enjoy the pieces that use the harp.

    Thank you. I enjoyed this. I have often wondered about the lack of music notation in ancient script also. I'm thinking that possibly music was simply an oral/ audio tradition much like the sacred teachings that were passed on from teacher to initiates. I've played a small trumpet in the temple of Seti and other temples. Different temples seem to have a particular note. Would it be possible that certain hieroglyphs represent different notes? Such as "A" the vulture would be A440 and so forth?

  • @geneticexpert1
    @geneticexpert1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    The ancient Egyptian elite played ceremonial music and chants like this while in secret meditation in the pyramids to increase the size and amplitude of their pineal glands/third eye in the brain, making them smarter, more creative and more aware of other dimensions. The pyramids were designed to amplify the frequency of the sounds and chants they used. This was the most secret of knowledge and only passed down by the elite bloodlines, kept secret from the masses who were enslaved. any person can do the same with meditation and devout focus on opening and nourishing the third eye with cosmic and earthly energies.

    • @stubhead
      @stubhead 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They had all sorts of great magical powers! With magic, they carved the heck outta bunch of big rocks and then they FLEW them into pyramids! You need a REALLY goosed pineal gland to do that shit, man. It just HAD to be, because the only other way you could carve and pile rocks like that would be to work, like, 10,000 slaves to death a year for like twenty years. And I read that it's HOT out in a desert. And that wouldn't be, like, a very cosmically-attuned way to get shit done, and if there's one thing we DO know, it's that them Pharoahs were really, really cosmic! They said so themselves, so that's first-hand pure factual information. Hey if I drill a hole in my forehead will my pineal gland be able to fly around like, you know, astral shit, man? I heard they had GREAT dope too, Yeah, baby!

    Thanks for your message. I agree that there is no known notation for the ancient Egyptian music. I was wrong about A= 440 for ancient tuning. A=432? In my opinion, there was more to the music than what we know of. As with the other Egyptian mysteries, frequencies were used to obtain a desired effect. Each temple had it's own particular vibration. Research in the area of music notation or tonal representation could prove to be very interesting. I'll look into this and get back to you.

    This is very good, ancient Egyptian tunes were fairly long, as they liked to entrance themselves. They were neither black or white, they were in between in complexion, very like a modern day Arab or a person from central India, the only difference is the ancient Egyptian men never needed to shave, like native Americans today.

    Anubis has visited me a lot, and he prefers me to refer to him by his Egyptian name, Yinpu. How this is pronounced I am not quite sure though lol. It's similar to: Inpu, Anpu, Yinepu, Yinpu, I say it as if the y is a cross between a y and an a, it's a weird sound to make, but he prefers me to address him as Yinpu. He is a strong, but protective force for me, Sekhmet also comes in sometimes, she's one powerful goddess who can be a tad snooty at times but she cares deeply about you.
