Thank you so much for your really helpful videos. I am from the UK, and we have no one over here who explains how and why problems occur and how they can be fixed. You have helped me replace the spade connectors in the charging station, replace the charging loom connector and also one of you contributors helped with a new transformer choice when the Husqvarna original was unavailable.
Thanks for a great tutorial - it helped me change the battery in my 310 in less than 10 minutes. Actually, the thing that took the longest time was all the T20 screws. Great work, greetings from Denmark.
THANK YOU for this great instructional video!! I was glad to purchase the parts directly from your store! And shipping was 100% fast -- very appreciated, helps get me back up and running again quickly!! THANK YOU!
Great Video! Thanks a lot- very informative, simple, clear to everyone. Just one question, how to reset battery statistics in this models after battery replacement? Thanks for your answer in advance 😉
When you reinstall the ribbon cable, is it indexed so it cant accidentally be installed backwards? I note you didn't show reinstallation of that critical connection to the motherboard?
Great tutorial - thanks much. Question on the software piece: Is it necessary to somehow "tell" the software that there's a new battery installed? Is there a counter for service hours that can be reset or something of that sort? Thanks much and greetings from Germany
It is not necessary. A dealer can reset the charge count for you with Autocheck if you really want them to. Most people just document the count when it was changed.
Do you know if one can change the default mah via the menu? I know you could change it on the old 220AC. I want to change the capacity in the menu to the spec of the new battery (3400 mah) As it is now it only charge to 1600 mah because it thinks a 1600 mah battery is in the mower.
Thanks for that. Really useful and well-presented. Someone told me a Husqvarna agent has to do something with the software, to get it to recognise the new battery correctly and get the full capacity out of it. Can I assume he was wrong?
Replacement batteries on current non AWD models are just plug and play. The new batteries for AWD models require connecting to Autocheck and updating the firmware.
Excellent video showing the entire process. What a horrible design by Husqwarna though, burying the battery all the way into the guts of the machine. That's going to need replacing with some year intervals. Doesn't look like a very difficult process but a lot of taking things apart to get that deep. All appliances need to have externally mounted batteries in casings so you can just detach the old one and put in a new one.
It's the sealing strip that goes between the upper and lower chassis to prevent dirt and moisture from getting in. Here's a video we made showing how to install one. th-cam.com/video/5tM4i-guJMw/w-d-xo.html
Yes, it was the same battery used in the 310, 315, and 315X. Later on they started using the black encased battery similar to what they use in the 400 series in the 315X. The 315X was the only 300 series model to come with the new style battery because the 310 and 315 had been discontinued here in North America by the time they started using the new style battery. The new battery is the same one used in the 115H.

Regarding 310, is it necessary to do a SW Update or vendor reset after changing battery?
Nope. The battery for the 310 is plug & play

@@RoboticMowerServicesdo you know if it is possible to put a larger battery pack in? Seems like there’s ample room.

What's the rope seal you mention at 17:08?

@@RoboticMowerServices Thanks!! I'm not finding this for sale on your website. Am I looking in the wrong spot?
I see on Amazon 2000mah and 3200 mah batteries. Can either work in the 310?
the battery power of a 310 is the same as that of a 315?
Yes, it was the same battery used in the 310, 315, and 315X. Later on they started using the black encased battery similar to what they use in the 400 series in the 315X.
