One of the first things to the chassis is the offroad design steering box support. To prevent the cracks in the frame around the steering box holes.
Quality video! Def lots of informaton but it's all coherent so you can always go back and review what you said!👍
Thanks for watching!
Good video. Fuel pump is opposite of the fans. The ecu sends power to relay.
You are correct. I noticed while editing I had two different relay diagrams. I'll make that note in the guide on the website
Fyi, a relay is basically just a really fast switch, like a solenoid. Low voltage (signal voltage) is used to energize a coil that then almost instantly closes a circuit for higher voltage.
Best example of practical use is the starter solenoid; technically, it's not "needed" to power the starter, as you could just run the battery cable straight to the key switch and then through there go to the starter. But then you would have that high current flowing through a key switch that only opens and closes at human speed. This would lead to arcing at the key switch contacts, causing pitting and wear, which could lead to failure or even start a fire. So instead, we use lower voltage to power a solenoid (relay) that can close that higher voltage circuit nearly instantly. Obviously this also eliminates the need to run thicker wire everywhere since the current flow on signal voltage is so low.
There are a few other advantages and considerations here but that is the basic principle in a nutshell.
Bro glad to see you back and changing your channel into what you want the way you want it. You Tube will catch on eventually. Keep up the Great work, I'm getting ready to do my own 82 and my old lady 86 long beds.
Thanks brother! Hell yea sounds like fun
Keep up the great work lil ser.
Thanks buddy!
Excellent primer for a new guy thx
Of course. Thanks for watching
@@JovaniDanteGriego about to start in on a LS into a 46 Chevy 3/4t
Last computer driven ECU car I dealt with was HALTEC based and we made the harnesses for the Jim Russell Racing School Mitsubishi 4G63 Turbo cars
Been a long time
Appreciate the confidence building intro
@@robertklyver you've got this!
Great info man, keep up the good work… So I have a question. Is that wire next to the cooling temp sensor the one from the truck fuse box to read the temp on the original gauge or? Or where do I have to connect that green wire to read my temp on the stock gauge?
Yep exactly it's what would've gone to the original temp sendwr
You need to do a video for converting maf and iat into a 5pin maf
I glanced on it. It's just an adaptor harness
@@JovaniDanteGriego how long is the adapter I was going to put mine by filter because my tb is 92mm
@@TeddyDub17 like 6 inches
🤘🏽Good show🤘🏽
Thanks man!

I’m getting a high voltage ECT and reading -38 I checked the pin on the blue plug and 74 yellow pin was there but the 63 pin isn’t. I looked at the colors wires on the ECT are yellow and black witch should be plugged into the 63 pin but that should be grey/tan. I noticed you did something to your ECT sensor plug did you ground it?
I swapped my ect plug for the 3 pin sensor, but kept existing wires I'm pretty sure
What about the under the dash wires?
I honestly haven't tried using them yet. I know you can set up a check engine light with the brown wire, and then a couple of the others can be used for modern digital gauges. Id have to take a look through the schematics again to check it out.
@JovaniDanteGriego thanks, I've looked into it but could never find a detailed schematic of what wire goes where.
How are getting the tow and haul mode to work I still want to pull my trailer and boat with my truck
Not exactly sure. I'm sure you can wire it in. But realistically dropping into 3 on the shifter and a good tune will do everything towhaul mode did
Ugly truck experience TH-cam channel has a video to hook up tow haul mode
Good info…bro your camera was all over the place 🤢
Sorry bud.

I just followed you on instagram also.
For sure thanks man!
